Ultimately, this company was a 1-2 punch of (1) massively overselling the quality and efficacy of their app/tools, and (2) very clearly setting up their subscription cancelation process to be predatory and confusing. I think a company who actually believes in their app/product, would never feel the need to incorporate shady processes just to get a few more months of payments out of subscribers. I personally found the app to be lacking in any real substance, and it certainly didn't offer any new or helpful insights into living with ADHD.
DO NOT TRUST: Approved my refund, tricked me into closing PayPal dispute, then blocked me.
I'mThe app is pretty basic content, probably ai made. Not at all helpful. They use extremely deceitful billing and sales techniques. Their money back guarantee is very difficult to get. After finally getting approval for the refund, which required me to drop the dispute with PayPal, they still haven't given me the refund. It's been 5 weeks now since they approved it, but have provided nothing but excuses, sometimes conflicting excuses. They ask for more patience. Now they have stopped even opening my emails. Since they coerced me into closing my PayPal dispute, I am unable to open a new dispute. Replying to your response. The email you provided is who I've been working with, and who has failed to process the refund. It is the ONLY communication method your company allows. Almost 2 months since I was told I would get a refund! I have another email on 7/30/26, now let's see if they respond.
Cancellation request ignored, months of charges – eventually refunded after repeated complaints
On 20 April 2026, I emailed s*pport@w*sey.app, Wisey’s support address, requesting a refund and explicitly instructing them to: “Immediately cancel any active subscriptions linked to my details” and “Confirm that no further charges will be made.” I received no response whatsoever. Despite my written cancellation request, Wisey continued charging me €39.99 per month. When I later contacted them again, I provided a screenshot of my original email clearly showing the date, time, recipient address and contents of my cancellation request. Wisey told me that they could not locate the email in their support system and therefore had not processed the cancellation. They repeatedly referred to the fact that I had not received a cancellation confirmation and stated that I “believed” I had requested cancellation. This was particularly frustrating because there was no question of me simply “believing” that I had cancelled. I had documented evidence that I sent an explicit cancellation request to the correct support address on 20 April. I explained several times that while I could prove that I had sent the email correctly, I obviously had no control over whether Wisey’s internal support system received, registered or retained it. In my view, it was unreasonable for the financial consequences of that failure to be placed on me. Wisey initially refused my request for a full refund, referring to their Money-Back Policy, and instead offered me 50% of only the most recent €39.99 payment as a “gesture of goodwill.” I declined that offer and explained that I was not requesting a discretionary refund because I had changed my mind about a purchase. I was disputing recurring payments taken after I had already sent a written cancellation request. After further correspondence, Wisey changed their position and offered a 100% refund of the most recent payment, while still refusing to refund the earlier charges. I again declined to consider the matter resolved. I pointed out that their inability to locate an email sent to their own designated support address did not change the fact that I had sent it correctly, and that I did not accept responsibility for the financial consequences of an apparent failure in their email/support system. After yet another review of my case, Wisey finally changed their position again. They have now confirmed that they are issuing full refunds for all of the recurring payments made after my cancellation request, including the €39.99 charges from 19 May and 18 June, in addition to the most recent payment they had already agreed to refund. So, to Wisey’s credit, the matter has ultimately been resolved in full and I appreciate that they eventually made that decision. However, I am still extremely disappointed by how much persistence was required to reach this outcome. The progression was essentially: Cancellation request sent → no response → continued monthly charges → full refund refused → 50% of one payment offered → 100% of one payment offered → finally, after continued complaints, all disputed payments refunded. Had I accepted Wisey’s initial “gesture of goodwill”, I would have received only half of one payment back rather than the full amount that they ultimately agreed to refund. For that reason, I cannot recommend the experience I had with Wisey’s subscription and cancellation process. If you use Wisey, I strongly recommend keeping copies and screenshots of all correspondence, documenting any cancellation request, and checking your bank statements afterwards. In my case, that documentation proved extremely important. I appreciate that Wisey ultimately resolved the matter, but it should not have required this much effort to have a documented cancellation request acknowledged and the subsequent charges refunded
What I believed was a one-time purchase (for one month) turned into nearly $400 in charges over four months for a service I never used. The sign-up process led me to believe I would be asked before any recurring subscription began, but instead I was automatically billed month after month. Even worse, I discovered I had also been charged for a separate e-book subscription that I never knowingly signed up for and didn't even know existed. When I contacted customer service, I went through multiple rounds of emails with what appeared to be AI-generated responses from a different representative each time. Despite explaining that I never used the service and never intended to subscribe, the best they offered was a refund of half of one month's charge ($48.50). That still leaves me out more than $350 for a product I never used. Mistakes can happen, but how a company responds matters. In my experience, Wisey showed little interest in resolving the issue fairly. I would strongly encourage anyone considering this service to read the fine print carefully and monitor their credit card statements closely.
I unsubscribed in October 2025. Unbeknownst to me until recently, the company charged and deducted my bank account monthly. Emailing was frustrating as I didn't receive response until I got through to their site. Even then, it was ridiculous that they could only block future subscriptions but not refund (only 50%). What kind of policy is this for a company that kept billing and deducting every month AFTER subscription cancellation?
Taking advantage of their mentally vulnerable userbase to make their cancellation process intentionally unclear and abusive. Misleads consumer into signing up for two seperate subscriptions, one for the actual app and one for "workbooks", glorified ebooks that you must pay concurrently for. Did not remind me of autorenewal, did not indicate that I still had an active subscription when I cancelled the main one, when I was charged surprisingly for several months at a time, lied about giving me a refund! They told me to close my paypal case and they would provide a partial refund. It has been over a month, and this has not happened. Deliberate scam or extreme negligence?
This app is a complete rip off. Great in theory but it takes advantage strategically and even when you cancel they will randomly charge you 3 mnths later. Do not give them your financial information
Scam, they charge you 15$ for the firs month, not telling you its a subscription. I did all the checking to make sure I wouldnt be getting a recurring charge, howeve , 2 months later, a random charge of $60 just popped up out of nowhere. I trieed to cancel but they wouldnt budge. Avoid! AVOID!
Be very careful with this app company! They will bill you even when you haven't downloaded or activated the app! Very dishonest and unethical scam! Do not trust them. They list a Nevada address however they are based in Cyprus. Probably Russians.
Signed if for free trial and was charged a stupid high amount for some ebooks which were automatically downloaded. Asked refund and took weeks to reply they feel sorry. And nothing else 5 charges on the day I installed the app. 17,99; 9,99 and 3 of 1 USD.
What they present as an application is a terribly expensive subscription service. When you realize this and try to cancel, they drag their feet, tell you how wrong you are, and essentially rob you of at least $50. I should have seen this company is based in Cyprus and therefore feels it can do at it pleases to US customers. I'll be writing my State AG and Apple to request they remove this from their store BEWARE!
They took money even though i cancelled the subscription. They refuse to give it back stay away they stealing money and its shocking. Even the dates doesnt make sense. I started on 6 may cancelled it 10days later. If what they say is true they should have taken money every 28 days. They didnt take anything on the 3rd of june they took today at the 28 of june. This company is full of lies. I want my refund
Be very careful with these people. It will look like you can try the app for a one time 9,99 but it will automatically setup a subscription for 40 euros a month. This subscription is not visible in your apple account since it is a “in app/platform subsciption” I emailed them within 6 hours of this renewal and i only get these frustrating AI generared answers why i will not get a refund or if i would like a different payment plan. These people are in it to screw everyone over once. The app is sh#t, just visualy made to get your attention once and rob you for 10+40 euros total. The only response i want from you a-holes a full refund for the 40 euros. If not dont even try to respond.
★☆☆☆☆ I signed up for what I believed was a trial and never intentionally continued using this service. Months later, I discovered that I had been charged for a subscription that I was no longer using. When I contacted customer support, I explained that I had received no meaningful value from the service and requested a refund in good faith. My request was denied solely because of their refund policy, despite the fact that my subscription had already been canceled and I confirmed that I wanted my account permanently deleted. As a small business owner, every dollar matters. I believe companies should be transparent about recurring subscriptions and should be willing to make reasonable exceptions for customers who clearly did not intend to continue paying for a service they barely used. While the support team was polite, I was disappointed that they chose to rely strictly on policy rather than customer fairness. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this service.
SCAM - DO NOT SIGN UP! This company is preying on the type of person it advertises towards. DO NOT GET CAUGHT OUT BY THESE SCAMMERS! Charged me £85 after the month trial even though it should be £9.99 a month and refuse to give a refund even though the advertising is not accurate and is misleading.
