The blueberry bushes came when expected and in seemingly good condition. However they were somewhat in shock and have not produced many berries this season. In hindsight I would have purchased younger bushes and waited a year for them to establish, rather than paying a premium for older bushes that didn’t produce.

I ordered 2 pecan trees. One of the trees never produced leaves. When I contacted Willis Orchard, they were very friendly and very helpful in letting me know what I needed to do to get the tree replaced. High recommend this nursery!

I do not recommend doing business with Willis Orchard. Roughly fifteen years ago, when I had very little gardening experience, I ordered a Giant Fuyu persimmon from them that grew beautifully. Based on that experience, I returned and spent more than $900 on fruit trees over the past two years, not including shipping. Unfortunately, my recent experience was very different from what I remembered. Several plants arrived with severely inadequate or damaged root systems. Bare-root does not mean nearly rootless; a plant should still arrive with enough viable roots to establish itself. Some looked more like cut branches than healthy nursery stock. Replacements also failed despite receiving the same care as plants from other nurseries that performed well. When I raised these concerns and cited guidance from a local agricultural extension office, the representative dismissed them by pointing to his experience planting more than 300,000 trees. That did nothing to address the actual condition of the plants or the additional money, materials, labor, and time I had already invested. Their warranty process was equally unacceptable. Willis Orchard appears to view store credit as a second chance for the customer, rather than a second chance for the company to provide a viable plant. They issued credit instead of a refund, required me to pay shipping again, and then refused to cover the replacement plants when those failed as well. I was eventually told that the company had fulfilled its obligation and that we should “part ways.” I agree. Whether my first successful order was luck or the company has changed, I found the current response evasive, condescending, and entirely lacking in accountability. Buyers should read the warranty terms carefully and decide if they’re comfortable taking that kind of gamble.

Good selection of trees not easily found elsewhere. Order process was easy and shipped right on time. Will buy again from this company!

I was happy to find this website due to the variety and reasonable cost of the plants I wanted to purchase. Unfortunately, many of my bare root plants did not survive. However, the company was exceptionally generous about replacements. I recommend doing business with them.

I located them through a search for cold-hardy pomegranates, one of my favorite fruits. They have five trees that do well in zone 6! The tree was expensive, and they sell out quickly. I see why. Packing and shipping took a bit of time, but what arrived was a *very* healthy 2' tree that had one open bloom, and many buds! I don't expect fruit this year, but I couldn't have a better start than the tree they sent me. All in all, a quality product using quality shipping from a quality company! A++++

Plants are doing well after a cold snap and some tense weeks for the pomegranate. The folks at Willis were supportive and responsive.

The pink lemonade blueberry shrub was bigger than expected and delivered faster than promised! It was packaged very well with clear instructions on planting once arrived. I'm very happy with my purchase and will definitely order from Willis Orchards again! Thank you!

i purchased 4 trees and only received 3. I have been going back ad fourth with customer service. They are now telling me that they dont have stock of the missing tree, and now have to wait untill October; which may not be the ideal time to plant a new tree versus the spring. Either way, this has been a lot of correspondence to fix a simple oversight, which still hasn't occured for over 2 weeks since original missing item not received with balance of order .

Both times I have purchased from Willis have resulted in happy, living plants that survived the shipment process and are now just a couple of weeks later producing new foliage and looking great. Shipping was fast and with my plants all surviving and thriving, I trust Willis for future purchases.

They were great! I needed to make a last-minute addition to my order and they were super helpful and easy to get it all the way I wanted it. Good prices. Also, the shipping was quick and the blueberry bushes that I ordered came in great shape and are doing well.

The service I received from Willis Orchard Company was awesome. They called me immediately after I placed my order to give me information and make sure I knew exactly what I was ordering. It turned out that I had ordered 2 femal plants. They switched one of the female plants with a male plant and ahipped my order immediately.

Although the arrival of the fig plant was delayed by UPS, it arrived in excellent condition. it was trnsferred into a large planter and it perked up as soon as it was watered, A week later, it looks great.

Several broken limbs and the smallest rootball I’ve ever seen for a 7’ tree (smaller than rootball on 18” sweetbay from Wilson Bros). Single trunk and goods price but expect it’s going to be rough first season if it even makes it.
