Damaged- after shipping took nearly 6 weeks, we finally received the light. The box was nearly bent into an L shape and also was the light when we opened it and took a look.

I had ordered the Balance Table Lamp in back and white but it turned out to be discontinued. The person, Martin, who informed me of this was kind, understanding and honored my wishes (refund instead of replacing with another color). It was my fault for not biting the bullet sooner as I eyed this for far too long! I do very much enjoy browsing their website and have ordered from them before. So many unique and eclectic lamps!

Shipping took about a month, but once I got the lamp I ordered I was pleasantly surprised. It looks cute in my space.

Well, I am writing this review as I try to put the light together. There are no instructions, and I am not saying this is the most complicated build in the world, but I have about 8" of wire that I cannot get out of the way of the screws I need to insert. I will give a further review once I figure out how to put it together. But right now I am super frustrated. Oh, and it took forever to arrive. No, don't expect your item to arrive quickly. This is an update: I did complete the build, excitedly plugged the lamp in, only for it to trip my breaker. I reached out to Vakkerlight, and their initial response was the post you see attached. I will update this post again with the conclusion of my Vakkerlight experience.

Lower quality than expected. Weight is not sufficient to hold the light when cantilevered.

After writing my review, the company agreed to a full refund. My light didn't function at all, had cosmetic damage and I'm only receiving a partial refund, shipping is being subtracted, which is nearly a third of the cost of the lamp. Very disappointed.

The delivery took way too long. I never would have ordered this item. I now have to hire an electrician to assemble and install the light fixture - and that will take weeks and cost more than the light.

the fringed desk lamp with green cloth shade is awesome, i have searched for this for over 10 years. wonderful quality and totally fair price, very well packaged, and excellent/accurate shipping information provided. highly recommended.

We are SO happy with our purchase!!! It is the coolest and most gorgeous lamp ever! Totally unique art piece! We ordered two other lamps too and can’t wait to get those as well! Keep in mind that the shipping does take a long time. You’re looking at 4-10 weeks realistically before your item gets to you, BUT they are HONEST about it upfront and they email you with updates along the way during production. So much better than a lot of these shady companies these days that pretend they have an item in stock and ready to ship and then two step you later on with a back order email…or extended shipping time with no explanation. I will definitely purchase from vakkerlight again and again!
