Is been more then a month I don't get a response from to lost about my problem they said i Have a fake streams complain and they they told me no information about the song who got a fake streaming complain my not is freezing and they dot respond to me i have a premium subroutine and I feel that I have been never been supported by this distributor
Customer service doesn't take you seriously. They have way too many flaws for them to not even reply to your support concerns. They don't fix anything you have a problem with, they just stop answering.
I have been dealing with this issue for more than a month. Too Lost blocked my account and my payments based on allegations of artificial streaming and suspicious activity, yet they have never provided any actual evidence. I repeatedly asked them to identify the specific song, the platform involved, and the evidence supporting these claims. Instead, I received only a generic response with no meaningful details. It has now been 21 days since my last meaningful communication with their support team. My recent messages have simply been seen and ignored. No evidence has been provided, no explanation has been given, and my account remains blocked. What makes this even more frustrating is that whenever someone leaves a negative review on Trustpilot, Too Lost publicly replies telling customers to contact their support team so the issue can be resolved. But that is exactly what I did. Their support makes serious allegations, blocks your account without presenting evidence, and when you ask legitimate questions or request proof, they simply stop responding. This issue has now been ongoing for more than a month, and I still have no answers. To make matters worse, my annual Too Lost subscription expires in August, and I am expected to renew it. I will not pay out of my own pocket for another year of service while my payments remain blocked and my questions continue to be ignored. If this is the level of support offered by a paid distribution service, it is deeply disappointing. Artists deserve transparency, fair treatment, and proper communication especial when serious accusations are being made. So far, Too Lost has provided none of these.
I purchased a subscription with Too Lost, but after deciding not to use the service, I requested a cancellation and refund within the 14-day legal window. I opened multiple support tickets and sent emails. It has been 4 days and all my tickets remain completely ignored (OPEN status) with zero response from their team. Due to their total lack of support and customer care, I was forced to file an official chargeback through my bank with all documentations attached. Independent artists, beware: if you face any issues, do not expect their support team to help you.
Part of a team running a small label and they just keep hitting us with "needs documentation" notices without ever telling us what it is they need. They took our money for a label plan but have left us missing a release date for one of our artists and no response from them despite multiple ticket requests. A very unprofessional service.
Complex metadata bug resolved by engineering team in 2 weeks
Initial experience was delayed due to a severe metadata processing issue where track drafts failed to validate and process correctly upon release submission. Whatever I tried, nothing worked. I even thought I was scammed. Especially while the proper support response took two full weeks! But once they got to the ticket—after I escalated the issue with detailed technical steps on where the release was failing—the TooLost engineering team quickly identified the root cause: an edge-case Unicode non-breaking space character (U+00A0) embedded within writer metadata fields that bypassed front-end validation and triggered backend errors. The team ultimately took full accountability, fixed the root cause, and restored full account functionality. It turned out I accidentally became "Client Zero" for this specific edge case. Thanks to this incident, the team updated their system-wide input validator to automatically normalize non-standard characters (at least starting with spaces — haha!), preventing future metadata rejections for all users on the platform. I assume the support delay was driven by the platform's rapid expansion, frequent feature updates, and new global distribution partnerships. Looking back, I was nowhere near finding the solution by myself. While I could theoretically hypothesize that the issue lay in that domain, a distribution platform should ideally account for non-technical users who simply copy and paste text. Scaling a young tech ecosystem means learning from these exact scenarios, and it's great to see everything successfully resolved. The platform is now working smoothly, and I look forward to releasing my upcoming works.
Helped me with my rollout; Jake made sure everything went smoothly and even helped out with promotion a little towards the album. Better than DistroKid and other distributors in every single way from my experience.
7th Note Media Account Held Hostage: 52+ Albums Frozen & Legal Demands Ignored
As the CEO of 7th Note Media, I am completely appalled by the lack of institutional compliance and basic human support at Too Lost. Since February 2026, our label has successfully distributed over 52 releases—primarily full-length choral and gospel albums—representing over 10 independent recording artists. Recently, our trending releases were targeted by a malicious, coordinated copyright extortion campaign. Instead of a compliance officer manually reviewing the case, Too Lost’s automated security bots completely suspended our account access, locking up our entire catalog and withholding 100% of our hard-earned royalties. This is a severe breach of contract and direct tortious interference with my label's international corporate obligations. We have already secured a formal retraction from the claimant, and my legal team has sent an urgent, formal legal demand to the compliance and legal team. We have received absolutely zero human response. Too Lost is actively withholding the livelihood of dozens of musicians based on unverified, fraudulent claims. I demand an immediate manual review of our case file and the reinstatement of our dashboard access. Do not reply with a generic automated script. Check your legal inbox for the notice sent by Paul Chacha Aboka / 7th Note Media. UPDATE (July 2026): Too Lost replied below with a generic support template, but my issue remains completely unresolved. My support ticket is #150921. My account was banned, my entire catalog has been removed, and my team's legitimate earnings remain completely frozen. I hold 100% multi-track DAW proof of original creation. I need a compliance or legal manager to review Ticket #150921 directly and release my balance. Once you save the updated review, Trustpilot sends an automated alert to Too Lost’s business portal saying: "The user has updated their review regarding Ticket #150921." That puts the ball right back in their court where everyone can see it.
I spent a year making an album and chose Toolost because I heard they had good tools for artists. I uploaded the first singe and it says delivered but I haven't gotten a Spotify URI number. I reached out to support and have got 0 replies in a week.. my release is coming up and I'm unable to submit my song to playlists and editorial. I've reached out through email, support portal, their AI chatbot and instagram.... then I started reading the reviews.... I feel like ive made a massive mistake ...
Good distributor, but slow earnings reports and lower payout rates/stream than other distributors. Still recommended, especially if you have a large catalogue.
Beware you won't get your annual fee back if you cancel early
It's apparent that a company doesn't care about its customer or future artist. When you attempt to setup you are met with a verification method that neither works on PC or mobile device. If you sign up, they will charge you and not allow you to upload your music until you get through that verification process. In my situation, I couldn't get to the part where I was allowed upload. They won't give you back your annual fee, beware. They even sent a email back, it wasn't clear if it that was AI or human.
100% Royalty Promise, Thousands of Dollars Withheld
subscribed to Too Lost’s paid plan because it advertised 100% royalty payouts. As a paying customer, I expected the royalties generated by my music to be paid to me. Instead, after a copyright complaint was filed against one song, my entire account was affected. The disputed song generated approximately $400 in royalties. I have screenshots and documentation supporting this. However, Too Lost withheld my entire balance, which currently exceeds $3,000, with additional unpaid royalties expected to bring the total close to $4,000. I contacted the copyright claimant exactly as Too Lost instructed. Too Lost provided me with the claimant’s email address, I contacted him in good faith, and he informed me that he would contact Too Lost directly. From that point forward, the matter was no longer within my control. For months I attempted to communicate with Too Lost regarding my royalties and my account. My emails were largely ignored, and I received no meaningful explanation regarding my withheld funds. The situation became even more concerning after I informed Too Lost that I intended to pursue legal action to recover my unpaid royalties. Shortly afterward, my account was permanently terminated, leaving me without access to my dashboard, royalty reports, wallet, tax documents, or account history. What concerns me even more are Too Lost’s own Terms of Use. According to their Terms of Use: * All Gross Receipts received from Spotify, Apple Music and other DSPs are considered the property of Too Lost unless and until the company decides to allocate Net Income. * Royalty allocations are made entirely at Too Lost’s sole discretion. * Artists have no automatic entitlement to receive royalty allocations. * Too Lost reserves the right to delay, refuse, reverse, offset, establish reserves, or permanently retain royalty funds whenever it determines, in its sole discretion, that doing so is appropriate. * The Terms also state that allocation decisions, timing, and amounts remain entirely subject to the Company’s own determination. These are not my interpretations. These statements come directly from Too Lost’s own Terms of Use. As a paying subscriber who purchased a service advertised as paying 100% royalties, I find it extremely concerning that the same Terms of Use give the Company complete discretion over whether artists ultimately receive the money generated by their own music. I also find it difficult to understand why a dispute involving approximately $400 would result in more than $3,000 in unrelated royalties being withheld without any meaningful explanation. I have preserved emails, screenshots, royalty statements, wallet balances, and other documentation supporting everything described above. I hope Too Lost resolves this matter fairly. Until then, I strongly encourage every independent artist to carefully read the Terms of Use before trusting this company with their music and royalties. For months I submitted support tickets, sent emails, and repeatedly requested an explanation regarding my withheld royalties and account. Most of my support requests were ignored or received no meaningful response. Instead of resolving the issue, Too Lost terminated my account shortly after I informed them that I intended to pursue legal action Even after my account was terminated, Too Lost has continued withholding thousands of dollars in royalties while refusing to provide a clear accounting explaining exactly why my entire balance has been withheld, especially when the disputed song generated only approximately $400. If the copyright dispute involved approximately $400 in revenue, why has more than $3,000 in unrelated royalties been withheld? Despite repeated requests, Too Lost has never provided me with a clear explanation or accounting
TooLost is a great company, and good for any artist who wishes to go there. Augie at Too Lost was extremely understanding, quick to action, helpful, and kind hearted. I recommend anyone wishing for a good distributor to find Augie, and he will sort you out, no matter what problem it is that you have.
Funds locked due to a clear bot attack (sabotage). Support completely ignoring my appeals.
I am deeply disappointed with TooLost's support. My account has been restricted and my balance locked due to a clear third-party artificial streaming attack (sabotage) that targeted two of my tracks ("30 seconds of preparation" and "Micro Uno") with massive, unnatural bot traffic coming exclusively from Oslo, Norway, and the US. I have absolutely nothing to do with this traffic. I am the victim here. To prove my complete good faith and fully cooperate, 5 days ago I opened an appeal under my label name "Andrius Music" (Andrea Corsini), attaching undeniable screenshots from Spotify for Artists showing that this traffic didn't even come from playlists. I even took the drastic measure of requesting the immediate removal of both entire affected albums from distribution in the US and Norway to cut off the bot source at the root. Despite providing crystal-clear evidence and actively sacrificing my distribution territories to stop the problem, TooLost keeps ignoring me or replying with automated copy-paste messages. I demand that a human supervisor finally reviews my pending appeal from days ago, checks my cooperative conduct, and unblocks my legitimate balance. This is unacceptable treatment for independent artists and labels. 07/07/2026: Days go by, they say they want to know more, that they're sorry, but they continue to ignore every request for help I've sent through all the channels TooLost has made available. They do nothing to protect their members, they don't perform checks, and they don't provide any support tools.
