I worked with the folks at Tech Mike for my first ever server build for homelab etc. I emailed their info email and they replied quickly asking informative questions that helped guide them and instead of pointing to an existing SKU on their shelf, they offered a customized build based on the priorities I had laid out to them. They also worked with me to customize it even further (adding rack rails + bezel and upgrading iDRAC to enterprise etc). The shipment arrived exactly as expected well packaged and safe and sound. All hardware was installed and only "assembly" required was mounting rack rails into rack and server onto rails. Upon config I also learned that the team at TechMike had run through the Lifecycle manager and updated all firmware and also did the RAID config that I had put into my inquiry email for me!! Huge!! Server is great, could not have asked for a better experience overall. I will 100% be buying from TechMikeNY again and will be sending any and all folks their way.

TechMike is a great partner. The have useful stock, a fast and transparent ordering process, and are great at pairing up to engineer solutions to problems using resources they can bring to bear. They're my first and usually only stop for second-market server needs!

After finding one bad PSU and that I had ordered too low a capacity for the both of them, they made it right by sending me two new PSUs with a much higher capacity.

Service was great. Shipped out fast and packaged very well. The SAS drives alk tested free of errors and passed badblocks tests that were done. No SMART errors and they are working like a champ. My only suggestion is maybe to disclose the number of hours or something. They had 7.5 years on them which was kind of a shock, but they still work with no errors or corrected sectors so that is good.

The machine is fine, but not what we wanted. I sent an email to TechMikeNY asking for the specific configuration we wanted, and they just never bothered to respond.

incredible company! spoke to them on the phone and they gave me advice on where to buy things, and even directed me to other vendors for items that would be more expensive from them. once i ordered, they shipped within a few days and server arrived in perfect condition, packed incredibly well. wish i could give more than 5 stars

Buying my server through TechMikeNY was a great experience. I placed the order online and called the next business day to verify. They had the order and were already working on putting the server together. I had incorrectly selected an incompatible GPU for the server. They called and emailed me to let me know and provide other options. I wasn't able to find anything in my price range, so they promptly removed the GPU from my order and shipped the rest of the server. I recommend them to anyone looking for quality and inexpensive servers.

I always have a good experience with TechMikeNY. I've bought 2 servers and multiple hard drives in the past. One hard drive went bad after a day of use, and they sent another one right away, not waiting for the other to arrive. Give them your business, you wont be disappointed. The candy that arrives with new servers is a nice touch too.

Awesome experience, I ordered server unit to make a trunas appliance without drives friday morning, I realized I should have ordered drives so called back midday to have it added and I had the whole thing at my door on monday with drives installed.

I appreciate that they wanted to authenticate package's NYC origin, but including three cockroaches in the box was unnecessary.
