BUYER BEWARE!!
BUYER BEWARE!! My daughter was looking for a driving instructor and she found one on Superprof. She was advised that the 1st driving class will be free and she can pay for 2 additional driving lessons which was $70($35 per hour). $70 was paid via e-transfer. Emily was the tutor we were communicating with. She claims to live in Calgary based one her profile on Superprof. Once the money was paid, they requested proof and we sent it to them. From that point on, the story started changing and they told us to pay for 15 hours. We tried calling them but they are not picking up. We reached out to Emily to refund the $70 but she advised that she already reached out to the secretary. It’s been over a week and no communication from Emily’s end. She is not responding to text messages either. The money was not refunded as well. This appears to be a fraudulent transaction as they have not provided services neither have they refunded the money paid to them. I will be reporting them to the Office of Consumer Affairs, Financial Consumer Agency of Canada, and Service Alberta. I have reported this to my bank. This is totally unacceptable. If it’s possible to give them 0 star I would do that.
