Solarnets.com - We provided lead generation services to Solarnets.com and completed the agreed work professionally. An invoice of $700 was issued with agreed payment terms of 30 days. Steve Dollens acknowledged the invoice and requested 30 days to process the payment. However, more than 40 days have now passed, and the payment remains unpaid. Despite multiple follow-ups, there has been no response to recent emails. We hope the company resolves this matter promptly and maintains fair and professional business practices.

UPDATE 3/12/2025 The review is about Solarreviews.com I am trying to post a documented 1-star review for RENU Energy Solutions regarding a major engineering failure, but SolarReviews is preventing me from verifying my account. It feels like they are protecting the installer by making the verification process impossible.

terrible company

terrible company. paid for residential leads. They sent me commercial and did not filter at all. If you decide to do business with solar reviews, they will charge a premium for garbage leads. They did nothing to make it right either.

This service is very helpful for getting quick estimates and comparing different solar installers, and the tools are easy to use even for beginners. However, some users mention downsides like follow-up marketing calls or that the value of paid leads is not always consistent, so I would rate it 4 out of 5.

Macarthur Energy

I paid the full amount to Macarthur Energy to install a battery on the 10/9/2025, I was given 3 commencement dates during a 4-month period after the after the second date had passed, and I received no contact, I rang and told them if it was not installed by the 30 th of January, to refund my money They said they would do a pre-installation on the 7th of January never turned up rang again on the 8th said they would install on the 30th waited half a day never turned up rang them again and requested a refund and said it would take 28 days to arrange a refund . I gave them one star for requesting the full amount and getting money out of me on a product they can't deliver

Compared to some independent analysis

Compared to some independent analysis, using AI, of course, and it was spot-on. I like the idea of being connected to qualified installers for a quote, and hope that experience is as seamless. My review is not for that portion of the transaction, of course.

Sunstrong/Sunpower STAY AWAY - EVIL

I am writing to warn people about SUNSTRONG SOLAR. I signed on originally with Sunpower and they went bankrupt. Then Sunstrong took over and frankly they aren't any better. I stopped paying my lease because they have been NOT ADDRESSING THE LEAKING ROOF FOR THE PAST TWO YEARS....I notified them of the "smell of water " when the panels were installed and they gave me some poop and bull story that didn't address anything. I FINALLY went into the attic during a rainstorm and the water was running down the joists. I HAVE spoken to them over and over and over and over again and all I get is that they are "working to get someone out here" Since I have stopped paying for NOTHING they shut off my panels and hit my credit rating which was excellent but now is down in the 600s. I am beside myself. NOBODY IS DOING ANYTHING TO HELP ME! There is a case with the attorney general in the state of CT but this is seemingly stalled. I GIVE UP IS EVERYBODY CROOKED? I WOULD NEVER EVER GET INVOLVED WITH ANY OF THIS AGAIN! WORST IDEA EVER!!!

They provided a clear estimate, but SPAM

They provided a clear estimate that made sense given my constraints. BUT please do not make solar companies spam call me, I did not like that I simply was just curious about an estimate.
