Nicole with SA Expeditions exceeded our expectations on our trip to Egypt. It was very comforting to work with her & the execution was flawless. I will definitely expect to use her for our next expedition.

The tour as requested for my family going to Peru, turned out to be just what they wanted and the guiding was very good as were all the tours. Because they just returned, I only got a very brief review with a promise of more later. The only downside was that the agent helping me had other family issues going and then travel overseas and thus was not always available, so it took longer to plan that it should have.

Our family just returned from an incredible journey through Ecuador and Peru, and I cannot say enough about SA Expeditions. From our first planning call until we returned home, every detail was handled with professionalism and care. Our itinerary included Quito, the Galápagos Islands, the Sacred Valley, Machu Picchu, Cusco, and Lima. The balance of luxury hotels, cultural experiences, wildlife, history, and world-class dining was thoughtfully designed. It truly felt like a custom itinerary rather than a standard vacation package. The logistics were flawless. Every airport pickup, hotel transfer, train ticket, flight, boat connection, and excursion was perfectly coordinated. Traveling through multiple countries could have been overwhelming, but SA Expeditions eliminated all the stress. We always knew where to be, someone was there to greet us, and every transition was seamless. The local guides were outstanding. Every guide was incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and passionate about sharing the history, culture, archaeology, wildlife, and traditions of their country. Their expertise made every destination come alive and greatly enriched our experience. A special thank you to Zofia, our travel specialist. She took the time to understand exactly what we wanted and helped tailor an itinerary that fit our family perfectly. She was always accessible, answered every question promptly, and was available throughout our trip whenever we needed assistance. Knowing she was just a message away gave us tremendous peace of mind. SA Expeditions delivers exactly what they promise—a personalized, high-quality travel experience where every detail is thoughtfully planned. Instead of worrying about logistics, we were able to fully immerse ourselves in the beauty of South America and create memories that will last a lifetime. The trip was absolutely seamless, with every step taken care of, making it easy for us to relax and enjoy ourselves. Our agent was also unfailingly responsive and helpful in setting up the trip. Once we arrived, the guides were uniformly terrific, both in Quito and on the boat. And the boat itself was fantastic and far above my expectations--pristine, comfortable, surprisingly spacious, and with great food.

Zofia pulled together a great trip with very little time in a less touristy area of Argentina. She had us staying at the nicest places available, with a guide that was perfectly suited for us who spoke English perfectly and was a knowledgeable guide and a considerate driver. Couldn’t have asked for more!

We had the most amazing African adventure arranged by SA Expeditions across Rwanda, Tanzania, and Zanzibar! Definitely the trip of a lifetime, including the amazing vibe in Rwanda having fully rebounded from the 90's - including a lifechanging Gorilla Trek, as well as a similar vibe and incredible journey across Tanzania and Zanzibar. We saw every animal we could have dreamed of - close up! - and SA Expeditions guided our planning and onsite experiences flawlessly. Frankly, it was hard to leave, after so many animal adventures we'd dreamed of for years, and so many wonderful people met along the way! Like many trips, its the familiarity of the human experience across the globe that uniquely touches our souls, plus the encounters with so many amazing creatures in their traditional environments was frankly - well, beyond description. Really must be experienced in person to fully capture the experience. Hugely recommended are the Gorilla Trek in Rwanda, as well as the magical Serengeti Balloon experience, which was like nothing we'd experienced before. Really though, every day we created new memories throughout, which will last us a lifetime - all made possible working with SA Expeditions. What a top notch organization, which made us feel completely cared for with comfortable and central accommodations during our 18 day adventure in countries we had never been in before! And the vetted driver guides were incredible. We made so many new friends, in addition to seeing sites we'd dreamed of seeing one day. Don't delay. We waited until our late 60's, and are so glad we made the leap to work with SA Expeditions to fulfill our dreams!

The trip was excellent. Laura Wingfield was our travel adviser and did an excellent job arranging everything. There is something very reassuring when travel to another country where (my) language skills are rudimentary at best, and having someone trustworthy meet you at the airport. The schedule she arranged was excellent and the hotels and tours were outstanding. So were the guides.

This is my second international trip with SA expeditions. The first one was to Peru and the Amazon in 2024 and this trip was to Ecuador and the Galapagos. What do I like best about them? a) the listen to me, build my trip as close to humanly possible , the way I want it. b) They take care of all the details, bookings, activities, transport, who is going to meet with mewhere and when, tct card, everything so I dont have to sweat the small stuff in a country I have never been to before. I really appreciate that! Thank you Claudia! c) their guides are awesome, so professional. I spent a lot of time with Sebastian and he is a font of knowledge,I learned so much from him and I am so pleased to have made a new friend. Solange was awesome on San cristobal as well. d) I love they have an installment program for me to pay for my travel. It was awesome, everyday was a new experience , I Loved the places I stayed at , thanks SA Expeditions for making my trip so smooth, everything went off without a hitch! Be prepared for my next trip with you!

SA expedition did a wonderful job. From start to finish everything was well organized. We were met on time by guides, drivers and planes. The Guides that were assigned to us were the absolute best. The knowledge and professionalism was outstanding. My family only task was to wake up, everything else was handle by SA. If was asked what is one thing i would change the only thing that comes to mind is having a picture of the person who is picking you up from the airport sent to you(kind of like uber). We never had an issue with pickup but that the only thing i can think of. Absolutely loved your service.

Our itinerary was personalized and organized perfectly. Our SA contact (Patti) was always available and responded quickly to all our questions and concerns. Our lodging was excellent! Our tour guides were amazing! Our trip went above and beyond expectations! We have traveled the world and this ranks #1. SA expeditions is highly recommended!

Our family traveled with our children, and this cruise exceeded every expectation. From the moment we stepped aboard, the crew made us feel like family. Every staff member was warm, attentive, and genuinely passionate about making our trip special. Traveling with kids can be challenging, but the staff went above and beyond to make them feel included, safe, and excited each day. The guides were incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and wonderful at helping our children appreciate the unique wildlife and environment of the Galápagos. The service was exceptional in every way. The crew anticipated our needs before we even had to ask, the food was delicious with plenty of variety, and the ship was always spotless and comfortable. Thank you to the entire crew for giving our family a trip we'll cherish forever! ❤️🌎🐢

Overall a wonderful trip to Quito and Galápagos Islands. Guides were well organized and met us at each transition with transportation on time. Naturalists were wonderful with the children. The Galaxy Sirius ship was top notch. Food and service excellent. I did not care for La Palma hotel in Quito.Coffee not available until after 7 am, showers sometimes not hot. Walkways dark at night. No washcloths provided.

I had an incredible, intimate safari in the Lower Zambezi National Park and a visit to Victoria Falls. Patti Collins suggested three fantastic camps along the river. The transfer between camps was seamless. The service at each place was incredible and the food was excellent. I didn't realize that area is so beautiful. The game drives were superb with great guides. The viewing felt very intimate and private. Many times we were the only ones there to witness the incredible animals and their interactions. Victoria Falls was amazing with the river at peak flow. The view from the Zambia side with double rainbows in the morning was magical. My favorite was the sunrise boat ride on the river. I highly recommend Green Safaris lodges. Their service, staff, lodgings and food are the best.

This was a wonderful adventure to Lima & Machu Picchu & other sites in between. Everything in our detailed itinerary occurred as described and on time. Our guide and driver were amazing - very knowledgeable, helpful to me suffering from a very sore knee and personable. The included lodgings and meals were all top notch. Having one guide and one driver with a comfortable SUV made the experience easy and memorable. Hayley Ward, our SA travel advisor, made all the arrangements.
