SJ was incredible! I felt safe sharing with her. She was very supportive when I received the results that I was not expecting. She provided me great suggestions for helping to manage some of my sensory issues.
This experience was better than I thought it would be. I will admit, I was skeptical based off some of reviews I had seen, but my experience at Prosper was amazing! I had a great psychologist who I reach out to still from time to time. She helped me understand Autism as a whole and was very good about asking clarifying questions when needed. This was an evaluation that included all parts of my life and did not focus fully on adulthood, which I appreciated. She got to know me through all stages of life. She gave me great advice and resources on how to process my diagnosis and what to do moving forward. All my life, I have been told I have food anxiety and social anxiety. It held me back ALOT and the diagnosis of Autism makes my childhood and adolescence make sense. I now feel comfortable enough to start my first year of college as I feel ready to navigate through a pivotal moment in my life thanks to my psychologist and the Prosper Health Team. If you are even considering Prosper, I would recommend it 100%! Save your money and time since you can schedule an evaluation quickly without having to spend thousands and wait up to two years.
My experience felt safe every step of the way and I'm thankful for that
What made my experience great was the fact that I brought my concerns to professionals who actually listened to me and took me seriously. I will forever be grateful for this experience as I have never experienced 'affirming care' before and I now know this is something so needed! My therapist and psychologist were both very warm and felt self for me. I have zero complaints. Thank you so much Prosper Health!
Dr. Clomax confirmed that Joshua was Autistic and Andrew the counselor provided excellent talk therapy experiences for Joshua - best regards, ShaVon Lewis
Hello, I've honestly suspected I was autistic since I was in my early teens, but until recently I could not afford to even begin thinking about seeking a diagnosis. Finally got to the point this year I was willing to give it a try. Decided to go with Prosper Health. After weeks of evaluations and speaking with both the psych and the therapist on multiple occasions, I received my diagnosis. Confirmation that I am in fact autistic. Anyway, once I received my diagnosis I asked if I could get an accomodations letter I could use to obtain the National Park Service Access Pass. I was advised that no, Prosper doctors are only allowed to issue accomodations letters for work or school, and not for any other purpose. If I want a letter for any other reason, I would have to go and establish service for an external doctor and ask them to write a letter over a condition they do not evaluate me for and they did not diagnose me with. Which just seems improper and inappropriate. Not to mention it means I'm going to have to pay another doctor to do I've already paid Prosper to do.
Simple, not overwhelming, and if I really only get charged $90 through insurance, extremely affordable. Lowkey impressed. I very much liked my Dr and was diagnosed with level 1 Autism. Thought I may be AuDHD, as I’ve been diagnosed with ADD since I was 7ish.
The psychologist who did my evaluation was kind & caring. The therapist that I have now, Julia, has practical suggestions for improving my life, and is also kind & caring.
I liked the safety of completing an evaluation for ASD from the comfort of my home
I liked the process of getting to select the evaluator myself. When I read Dr Millman’s profile I felt a safe connection and it turned out to be completely accurate. The process was stressful but not overwhelming and Jennifer checked in with me throughout each session to be sure I was not getting too uncomfortable.
