The service is fine. I paid $1 for the info I wanted. Within two weeks I was charged $34.95 for the next month. Somewhere in the fine print when paying $1 you are signing up for monthly charges when you us PropertyChecker. UNACCEPTABLE behavior for any legitimate business.

I was searching for property information of a relative that passed away and this site popped up saying it had the info. After paying the 1$ 7 day trial fee I had to re-search the info and it didn't pop up, no biggie it was just a dollar. Turns out its a 7 day trial that turns into month subscription for 34.99 and it's actually a 6 day sub where they charge you the 7th day. Chat hasn't been helpful so I have a sneaking suspicion the other 5 start reviews are fake.

Beware this is an automatic subscription service with an initial $1 use charge that becomes an automatic $34.95 monthly fee! Verify your cancellation in writing or you’ll get hosed like me. $36 for a single search. Avoid at all costs!

i was charged even though i canceled in time to prevent that charge. however, propertychecker totally dealt with that quickly and courteously. mistakes happen but fixing those mistakes doesn't always happen. this time it did and i thank you for your kind attention and action. i would without hesitation use your website again.
