Practical, real-world content despite some tech hiccups
Solid experience with the CRE Fundamentals Level I program. The material was clear and practical, walking through real concepts like operating margin, NOI, and how to think about rent growth vs expense assumptions using an actual offering memo instead of just theory. I ran into some tech issues that kept me from fully participating in the breakout room portion, but the core content and presentation were still genuinely useful. Looking forward to Level II.

The information I learned today helped strengthen my understanding of commercial real estate fundamentals. Did Level I of the CRE Fundamentals…
Did Level I of the CRE Fundamentals program on a Saturday morning. First time doing anything real estate related and it was more hands-on than I thought it would be. Cedric taught the first hour and then put us in breakout rooms with an actual offering memo for a building in Queens, so you're applying it right away instead of just listening. He calls on people constantly, which sounds annoying but keeps you paying attention. Good mix of students too, undergrads and grad students from all over. Only thing I'd change is more time in the breakouts. We had about 18 minutes to get through the memo and could have used double that.

I recently completed Project Destined's…
I recently completed Project Destined's CRE Fundamentals Certificate Program Level 1: Market & Property Analysis session. I felt like this experience was very informative for a beginner looking into real estate. I liked how Cedric was when speaking to my cohort and really encouraged us to both answer and ask questions related to what we were learning.
