Overall the experience with Palmetto was great. Could improve on some communication but they were professional and easy to work with at this point in the process.

As an independent publisher, I understand that staff changes happen. My concern wasn't that my original representative, Natalie Ireland, was reassigned. It was how the transition was handled. Natalie worked with me on my first two books and was familiar with my project, which was a three-book Christmas trilogy scheduled for release together. Midway through the production of the third book, I received an email informing me that I would be working with a new representative. There was no discussion, no opportunity to ask questions, and, more importantly, no apparent transition plan. Unfortunately, it became clear that critical information had not been communicated between the two representatives, including the importance of the trilogy release schedule. Because of that, the third book experienced avoidable delays, revisions took longer than expected, and the project ultimately missed the timeline that had been carefully planned from the beginning. I believe Palmetto has talented people, and I appreciate the work that ultimately went into producing the books. However, communication and continuity are essential, especially for authors managing multiple titles with coordinated release dates. A smoother handoff between project managers would have made a tremendous difference in my experience. My hope is that Palmetto will strengthen its internal transition process so future authors don't experience the same frustration. Authors invest not only financially but emotionally in their books, and clear communication is just as important as the publishing process itself.

Working with the Palmetto project manager was a great experience. My book turned out exactly how I envisioned. Natalie and Cassie made the process easy and catered to even some of my frustrations. I'm now working with Palmetto on my next book and marketing my first book. I will always have Palmetto as my publishing company.

Working with Palmetto has made my first book experience a wonderful one. I was worried about many things but they helped guide me through the process. They were never "pushy" but worked at my pace. Every time I needed assistance they were always a phone call or email away and responded in a very timely manner!

Distribution is questionable. I have no direct visibility, royalties are much lower than I had been promised, if they even show up. I cannot manage my listing on Amazon or B&N, cant see what has actually sold or make changes. It all has to go thru them and I am blind. Big mistake.

Everything about Palmetto was excellent. I did not give 5 stars because as yet I have not seen the final product. Once I see the actual book I will likely increase the level. Each person I dealt with was considerate, professional, competent and concerning for my needs.

Palmetto’s representatives reached out with alacrity and enthusiasm. When the question I had wasn’t in their particular bailiwick, they copied colleagues in on the emails. I knew that many people were laboring on my behalf. However, sometimes I felt more regular updates would be nice.

As a first-time author, writing my memoir, My Career in the Airline Industry as a Customer Service Agent, was both exciting and challenging. I had the wonderful privilege of working with two outstanding professionals, Natalie Ireland, my Project Manager, and Abigail Franken, my Marketing Manager, Their dedication, professionalism, and encouragement made this journey a memorable experience. Natalie Ireland deserves special recognition for her exceptional support throughout the publishing process. She was simply amazing. She consistently returned my phone calls, emails, and text messages promptly, answered my questions with patience, and guided me through every step of bringing my memoir to life. Her commitment to excellence made me feel confident and supported from beginning to end. If there were an award for outstanding project management, Natalie would certainly deserve it. Abigail Franken did an excellent job managing the marketing side of my book. She provided me with a comprehensive marketing brochure and valuable information to help me introduce my memoir to readers. Her professionalism and expertise gave me confidence as I began promoting my book. I also want to express my sincere appreciation to the entire Palmetto Publishing team. Every person who contributed to my book played an important role in helping me achieve a lifelong dream of becoming a published author. When my project first began, I was very disappointed until Ryan was assigned as my Project Manager. He is simply amazing. He did so much to help me finalize the book. He always returned calls, emails, or even texts. This process, once he was on board, went extremely well. He is a professional in every sense of the word.

I am not new to the self publishing business. I have authored 5 previous books by another publisher, #1 From God's Heart, to Mine, to Yours, #2 More, From God's Heart, to Mine, to Yours, #3 From God's Heart, to Mine, to Yours, Trilogy, #4 From God's Heart, to Mine, to Yours, Heaven, #5 From God's Heart, to Mine, to Yours, "Message Delivered". When I was inspired to do a 6th book "From God's Heart, Are We Listening?", I searched for a publisher that I felt comfortable and excited to work with. What I discovered working with them was they came across the same working together with me. What I believe was the most important factor is "they listened"! When I say they I mean, Chloe, Brenna and Reeves. I did receive my new books and I must say I am very satisfied with the outcome. Self publishing can be expensive. I know for sure with this being my 6th! But what it comes down to I believe is the mission behind the undertaking. For myself, it is getting God's poetic messages out for all to read. Not only to read but you can hear each poem from my previous 5 books narrated on my website, (glowny) God's Love Outreach Western New York. This book that Palmetto Publishing did for me I believe ties everything together for some of my previous book poems are shared "by topic". I want this book to be beacon to bring attention to all God's awesome messages. I am not a person that writes a lot of reviews but for this that represents 35+ years of my life, I humbly say "thanks for listening"! Yep, a 5 star thanks!
