Be aware of this "company"!

Theese high star recomendations in here must be bought. This company is not serious at all. They have hidden recurring subscription fees, unauthorized high charges following cheap trial offers, and very difficult cancellation processes. Be aware!

Disappointed by the unexpected subscription and refusal to refund an unused service

I purchased a course for $1 and did not realise that the purchase included a trial that would automatically convert into a monthly subscription. Unfortunately, I was charged $47 after the trial ended. I never used the subscription or accessed the platform after the trial — I didn't even log in. As soon as I noticed the charge, I contacted customer support and asked for a refund, but my request was refused. I understand that the subscription terms were apparently provided during checkout, but I genuinely did not intend to purchase a monthly membership and received no benefit from the paid subscription. I'm very disappointed with how this has been handled, especially given that I contacted the company immediately and the service was completely unused. I hope NewMindStart will reconsider and offer a refund in this case.

Disappointing and misleading experience

I signed up for what was advertised as a $1 offer. I was not expecting to be charged the full amount after 7 days, and I feel the pricing and terms were not made clear enough at the time of signup. I found the experience very disappointing and would advise others to carefully review the terms and billing details before signing up. In my opinion, the way the offer was presented was misleading.

A wide variety of courses that are very interesting but practicle and simple to practice without feeling overwhelmed. The team is also extremely reactive in case you're facing an issue.

Deceptive billing

Deceptive billing — avoid. I bought what was advertised as a $1 app. During checkout there were hidden, pre-selected boxes I never knowingly agreed to, and days later I was charged $39 for a subscription I never wanted. When I asked for a refund straight away, support refused, claiming the terms were “clearly presented.” They were not clearly presented — they were deliberately buried. This is a textbook dark-pattern subscription trap, and the hundreds of identical complaints here prove I’m not an isolated case. Charging people through hidden checkboxes and then hiding behind “it was in the terms” is not an honest way to run a business. I want a full refund of the $39 and my subscription cancelled. I’m also raising a chargeback with my bank and reporting the practice. I’d strongly warn anyone tempted by the “$1” offer to stay away.

Scammers! Avoid this company

First they charged me 1$ and after 3 days, without my authorisation 49$. There was an info about 14 days money back during 1$ payment I’ve sended an email immediatly, to cancel subscription and to get my money back. They rejected my request. Thanks to my bank I’ve received my money back during Chargeback procedure.

Instructor was lovely

Instructor was lovely. Well-spoken, clear, empathetic and responsive. I was weary of the session because that's what trauma does to a person, makes them weary of everything. Of course the session couldn't remove the trauma, it's not meant to, but it did give an opening eye that it would be a safe place to put down the load for a little bit if nothing else. It was the session I didn't realize I needed until the moment I was in it and I could feel the weight subside. It lead me to also ask myself the question - did I really want to keep carrying that weight and why? Things years of therapy had never asked of me before. I am grateful for this lesson and the space to hold a person safely it provides. Thank you

If there was no stars I would pick that…

If there was no stars I would pick that option for my feedback. I recently purchased their special offer course for $1. The days later they charged me $39 dollars. I’m not new to sign ups via internet but it was not obvious that this was a part of subscription. So of course they refused to refund. I am still very angry about this poor business model

Disappointing Experience

I had a very frustrating experience with this service. They charged me $39, but I never even used the service. The initial $1 fee seemed appealing, but it turned out to be misleading. I felt completely let down by their customer service, which was uncarer. I wouldn't recommend trusting company.

Maria was amazing and helped me out

Maria was amazing and helped me out. Yes the site is a little sketch but I am pleased with the courses I purchased. There did return my money for another course that didn’t load properly. I buy the courses outright so I don’t pay the membership and that works best for me. Thank you Maria… very pleasant and kind. 🦋

They steal your money through unauthorised payments

I paid a one off payment for a course and the next thing I know they’ve taken have taken an unauthorised subscription fee of $39 out of my account. Extremely angry about this and want them to refund this asap.
