I bought a Vacheron Constantin clone watch. The watch arrived looking good, but the screws were not properly tightened, causing the watch to immediately come loose and fall apart. My local watchmaker fixed the screws and applied a very thin, invisible layer of glue, which is standard practice for this type of watch. Apparently, this was not done by the company. They were responsive and offered to send replacement screws, but this does not solve the real issue: a watch at this price level should arrive properly assembled. The explanation that the screws loosened during transportation does not seem realistic, as after wearing the watch for some time I noticed other screws becoming loose as well and had to fix those again. Overall, the watch looks good, but the quality control and service level do not match the expectations for a Vacheron Constantin.
Throughout my whole process (before, during and after purchase) the team answered all my questions with honesty and detail. I'm very picky when it comes to watches, and this purchase is meant to be my last for several years, therefore all needs to be perfect. Getting the watch, and viewing the quality check pictures, I cam see that literally nothing is out of place. Wright, craftsmanship, execution, polish everything is up to expectations. All links on the bracelet are perfectly fitting each other. I understand that ADs can't differentiate between this and "the real thing" - this is just as much the real thing, only difference is the stamp was (maybe) done in a different country and thousands of dollars. I was initially a little skeptical, both about the craftsmanship and the bank transfer payment method. But I have now purchased my second watch from them, and they simply do not disappoint. I have had my Vacheron Constantin Overseas from them for about a year now, and it is still running very smoothly and looks almost brand new. The power reserve may have dropped from around 36 hours to closer to 30, though that may well be my own fault, as I have often worn it in the ocean and in the shower. Overall, I could not be more pleased with the watch itself. The customer service has also been exceptionally reliable, responsive, and kind throughout.

A very responsive, polite, and genuinely helpful team who give a strong impression that they care about both their products and their customers from the outset. Communication has been clear and timely throughout. My first order arrived in around two weeks and was in perfect working condition. The second order was delivered much faster—within four days—which was a pleasant surprise. My third order has taken longer, but I’ve been informed this is due to additional quality control checks before dispatch. While the delay is slightly frustrating, I do appreciate the emphasis on ensuring the product meets a high standard before shipping. The two models I’ve received so far are of excellent quality and have met my expectations. Based on my experience to date, I would be happy to order again once the third item arrives and proves satisfactory. UPDATE: My 4th order arrived, again in excellent condition, and is a dazzling addition to the ever-growing collection. There is a 5th piece on the way too and is expected any day now, so will say more when it arrives. This is the piece that I choose when my original order wasn’t available, after a long wait. Thus, it’s a bit of a compromise and I am hoping it will be a good alternative. I was just informed that my first choice is now available, but given where we are now, I probably won’t pursue that one again. UPDATE: My 5th item arrived - the replacement for my original choice and its a stunner. Took about 2 weeks from order to my door. The piece is beautiful and well worth the wait. The team at NCW's do a fantastic all round job. Yes there are things that do go wrong (my 3rd order!) but they are highly responsive and v eager to put things right - what more can one ask? So another splendid piece to add to my wrist. Will update again after my 6th order, when I choose it... UPDATE: Unfortunately, within a month of receiving one of the pieces, a screw worked loose and fell out. NCW were helpful in arranging a replacement, although I was initially asked to pay $45 to cover postage and packing. I was also informed that the manufacturer's warranty only covers the movement and not other components, meaning the factory does not stand behind the product beyond the mechanism itself. Prospective buyers should be aware of this limitation. Following this update, NCW informed me that their senior management had reviewed the matter and, as a goodwill gesture, agreed to waive the postage and packing charge. This was both unexpected and greatly appreciated. While the warranty limitations remain something buyers should be aware of, I was pleased with how NCW ultimately handled my case and their willingness to resolve the issue fairly. I shall continue to search out my 6th order (taking longer than expected as a few of those chosen have not been readily available).
