Their staff showed up on time. They had all the laminate flooring ready. They had a good attitude and worked as a team of two. They finish putting down the floor in a timely manner .They cleaned up when done .

I purchased carpet from NFD and after 2 months the carpet was showing signs of wearing. I notified them and they sent someone out to look at the carpet and confirmed it was in fact wearing. After I contacted the Better Business Bureau, they agreed to replace the carpet if I remove my complaint. Then they decided not to replace it because I took too long to bet back with them for a date to replace the carpet. I now have to replace the carpet at my cost and still have to pay the finance company $3,200.

This was the worse experience I have ever had with a co. The install took over two weeks, the crew consisted of one man to do an entire first floor, kitchen, bathroom, living room, dining, bedroom and hallway. For the price the quality was poor and the response from the service dept was no help. We now have flooring that has large gaps and their response was to buy more flooring from them to fix it, not a sorry what can we do to make this better since the entire experience was awful but for me to spend even more money to fix their mistake on flooring that is poor quality. Do not use them, you can find better installers and better quality elsewhere!!

I was promised an Amazon gift card if I filled out a favorable review from our floor installation. I did that and was awaiting the card. It did not come so I contacted the appropriate department and it was taken care of in about 3 days.

We secured 3 bids to replace the carpet in our master bedroom and hallway. Empire, National floors and a local contractor. National gave us the best price and we were very happy with the sales representative, the information provided and the promptness of scheduling the install. They were very thorough in confirming our decision, I received 2-3 calls to verify the style, rooms and date of installation. The installers were great and did a wonderful job. We are very happy with the process. The issues are as follows: National floors will only guarantee the product and installation if your sub floor is perfect, I mean 100% perfect. The installers indicated that our floor was a bit rough, it was a 20 year old subfloor. They contacted National and we were told that if we did not have a new subfloor installed they warranties would not be honored. The price to replace the subfloors for material alone was over $1600 and that was based on my research at Home depot and Lowes. We anticipated another $1500 or so for removal and installation. We discussed this with the installation crew and they felt the existing sub floor was stable and we should not have any issues. Now the cost for the flooring and installation was $4,000. So dropping another $3,000 for plywood seemed a bit outrageous. We opted to move forward with out the new sub flooring. As I said the installation was perfect and the floors look great. We are very happy with the job. Now we expected to get a follow up call or email or text on our satisfaction, but we did not. I waited over 5 weeks and still no follow up. I find this interesting. My concerns are as follows; We opted to not go with the subfloor, Now how many subfloors meet there criteria for the warranty to be effective, how many people put in a new sub floor for fear of having no warrant? My suspicion is that National floor has a greater than 50% rate of not honoring the warranty due to sub standard sub floors. And the lack of follow up makes me think that since we did not opt for the overpriced subfloor, they are done with us, they have our money and will not need to deal with us again. That is pretty sad if I am correct in my suspicions.

National floors has been great with coming out to fix some minor repairs that were needed (scratches that we encountered on our side and one of the pieces flooring moving due to temp). The initial installation back on April 2025 was fast and good work. Whenever I called about the minor repairs they were quick about scheduling someone to come out and look and even repair it same day at no cost.

National floors direct made our selection and installation easy in replacing our carpet in the living room and hallway. Sales listened to our needs and offered the carpet that would fit both our traffic and our budget. Installation was quick and seemless. We highly recommend this company.

I know these other reviews have to be lies. I still have nightmares about the floor this company installed in our home. The builder grade floors we had for over 10 years in our home lasted way longer than the floors this company gave us. To start the product that they showed us at consultation is different than what they installed. They cut corners every possible opportunity that they could get. The biggest corner that they cut was on our staircase the stair noses on every single stair is hollow and breaking. This is extremely dangerous and someone in our home actually broke their foot and needed surgery because one of the star noses fell off when they were walking down the stairs. I’ve never seen floor installed so poorly. I really wish I could provide pictures because I have plenty of them. This company does bad business. Avoid them at all cost.

I got a quote for my small floor upstairs and the staircase of $1,590. They scheduled the install for Wednesday, July 8th, 2026. They called on Tuesday to say the product wasn't in yet so they needed to reschedule for Friday. I said ok but then Wednesday they showed up anyway while I was taking my granddaughter to the doctor after a tonsillectomy. The guys who showed up didn't know it was rescheduled but they could still do the floor. The stairs would be done on Friday. Ok, so the second crew showed up on Friday & said it would cost extra for the boarder binding on the rug! I paid $50 cash for the binding. To say the least, I was a little pissed because I had gotten a quote from Home Depot for $889. I should have taken that but I thought this would be better quality.
