Ignored abuse report — domain used for fraud remains active
I reported a fraudulent website (ghostswap.io) to NameSilo on July 5, 2026 (Case #33033749). The site advertises "NO KYC" but freezes user funds after receiving them. I have provided all evidence — screenshots, transaction hashes, and a public thread on BitcoinTalk. NameSilo acknowledged my report but took no action. The domain remains active and continues to mislead new users. I understand registrars are not judges, but I expected at least an investigation or a response that shows they looked into it. Instead, I received a template reply and silence. If you care about your reputation, I would recommend checking abuse reports before they become public complaints.

Years of loyalty, zero respect
I have been a loyal NameSilo customer for many years, but my recent experience has been extremely disappointing. My account was suspended due to an apparent false positive triggered by automated crawlers after I simply changed DNS settings. I promptly provided all requested verification documents, including a photo with my government-issued ID and a handwritten note, exactly as instructed. All verifications were successfully completed. Despite this, NameSilo continues to drag out the process with endless requests and bureaucratic hurdles. They keep asking for additional clarifications and questioning my registrant information, even though there is no actual discrepancy — the WHOIS shows their own company address by default. It feels like they are making the process intentionally difficult instead of simply resolving the false positive and unsuspending the account. I have complied with every single request, and yet my account remains suspended. I understand the need for security measures, but when a customer fully cooperates and provides all required documents, the company should act promptly and fairly, not waste time with endless back-and-forth. Very frustrating experience. I hope they improve their verification and support procedures.

Namesilo is a good registrar overall, but the customer service is hit or miss. Some agents are 5/5 while others are not helpful at all.

Namesilo - RUN AWAY
Namesilo is inept! I ordered a domain name and it's been processing for 24 hours. I was JUST told that I "really don't have the name yet" as they are "trying to work through technical issues" with the .you registrar. I've been with namesilo for 9 years. This is the straw, I'm leaving them permanently! Do yourself a favor and RUN away from this registrar as fast as you can, or you might lose your favorite domain name without even realizing it.

Catch.club issue solved via NameSilo Support
Via NameSilo Support I was able to get an instant escalation of my name server assignment issue for a domain I had caught 5 days ago (well beyond the usual 72 hours). I had tried to reach Catch.club support to no avail.
