I called Muzata customer service and connected with a live represntative on the phone after just a brief wait. He answered all of my questions and was very helpful. I was quite impressed with the service.
The railings used to be half way decent until they cut corners. More recently I bought two of the gates. They are an absolute nightmare to put together. They spec'd it to use tapping screws to hold the poles to the bottom. Problem is the product was built to make it impossible to get the screws in straight, so you get an angle on the tap. The first gate was a nightmare, but we got the sides attached to the bottom. The screws in the second gate were so substandard that the heads twisted off. Even their standard railing has taken a turn for the worse. They no longer include the linear cable bolts. Instead, they now use cable toggles, which keep a permanent wave in the cable where it goes into the pole - making the cable look loose even when it is tight. If you tighten the cable to the point of straightening the wave, then the substandard gate poles will bend in towards the cables. They still make the straight cable bolts, but you now have to pay $90 more per ten of them if you want your job to look half way decent.
We're so pleased with how easy the cables were to install using the hydraulic crimper & cable cutter. The cables open up the view of the lake and having them will save me from having to paint vertical rails every year. Cheers Fiddler's Lake Escape
Great customer support from Brandon. It is refreshing these days to get a phone call to personally respond to inquiries. My only criticism of the product is that the CR73 should be available without all the drill bits and tools at a more competitive price level. Sell a stand alone installation kit with the bits and tool. I now have like 10 sets.
My service rep, Brandon, was excellent. My original order was lost by the delivery company. Brandon investigated, got authorization to reorder my supplies and got them delivered. He even followed up days later to make sure I received everything I ordered. Great service!
I inherited a deck with Muzata railing that had not been installed correctly as the run lengths of the cable were too long. 32 feet instead of the recommended 16 foot maximum. This resulted in sagging cables that just didn't look good. I found Muzata to be very helpful in figuring out how to correct the situation and I now have a cable railing system I'm very happy with. It's a very clean look as all anchors and tensioners are hidden so that only the cable is visible.
We had an outstanding experience with Muzata for our railing project. the service was flawless from start to finish. the plans provided were accurate and precise, which made the installation process smooth and stress-free. our representative, Peggy, delivered exceptional service she was extremely responsive and always quick to reply to our questions. we truly appreciated her professionalism and efficiency. we highly recommend this company!
Always very responsive and helpful. Great Working with engineers and the customer service staff! Product has always worked well and clients are extremely happy.
I requested specific information from several companies regarding dimensions of some of their handrail components. The only response I got was from Brandon at Muzata. He responded to my email request promptly and with the exact information I needed. Thanks Brandon.
I did two new railings for the wonderful homes of retreat-novascotia.com The railings look amazing and the customer service was outstanding. Even got refunded without questions for an unexpected customs bill.
Outstanding customer service and support on my order. They took charge of correcting a minor blip in the order in a professional and prompt manner. The cable railing system is high quality and not at all difficult to install. My wife says it’s the ‘ cherry on top’ of our new deck . I highly recommend Muzata on their quality and service !
The customer service at Muzata is outstanding. I placed a fairly complicated order in the evening Pacific time, and within an hour I realized that I had forgotten a few accessories. I e-mailed customer service and within an hour "Eveline" had added the parts, and also flagged that one of the parts I had ordered appeared to be in a different color than the others. By carefully checking my order, she caught my error and fixed it on the spot, wildly exceeding my expectations and saving me the expense and delay of a return and reorder.
Over the last 18 months, I've used Muzata handrail systems and design services on three separate decks and cable/hardware on a fourth deck. The design services and communication were excellent in every instance. Peggy was responsive, friendly and extremely helpful. Quality issues were minimal and addressed quickly and completely when encountered. I will definitely be using Muzata products again!
The spindles on our screened in porch were badly in need of painting but with the screening behind them it would have been very difficult to do. I chose to cut out the spindles entirely and install the Muzata T316 cable system. I decided to install myself so there was a moderate up front investment in the tools and a bit of a learning curve, but once I got the hang of it the job went quite smoothly and turned out great. The unsightly spindles are gone and our view of our back yard is virtually unobstructed. A few points… * This is easy enough for one person to do. * I did not use the adhesive sleeves (they look like washers) as I did not feel they added anything significant to the aesthetic. * I did not have the self tapper for the first half of the project so screwing the threaded sleeves into the wood posts was rather difficult. The self tapper made this effortless. * The Muzata team were very helpful with any challenges I had. At one point, the supplied wrench failed and they sent me a new one without delay. We have an outdoor deck that I intend to tackle next and am confident it will be done without any difficulty.
The Muzata railing system was extremely easy to work with. Even without being a professional, I was able to install it myself and achieve a very high-end, modern look. The quality of the product is excellent, the installation process was straightforward, and the finished result completely transformed the appearance of my home. It truly gives the house a clean, luxury look like it was built by a custom home developer. I highly recommend Muzata to anyone looking for a professional-looking railing system that is both user-friendly and visually impressive.
Installed the CR73 invisible lag screw tensioner system for my deck railing. Product was easy to work with and quality appears very good. I made sure I had the proper tools (cutter, crimper) and had no issues installing. Eveline was great following up with my order to make sure I was satisfied with my purchase. The only concern I had was with the adhesive sleeve washer but after 10 months all are still intact.

I sent in the dimensions of my deck and was given an installation plan and all the parts needed. My contractor watched the installation videos online and installed the system with no problems. I ordered the black posts, silver cable and the wood grain top railing. It looks great, and the views from my deck are now unobstructed. Highly recommend this system.
This is a very easy system to install. The product was first class the instructions are easy to read and very easy to install product. I made a mistake on my napkin style drawing and forgot some parts. They respond quickly and delivered what I needed. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I will be using them in the future.
