I let Mixbook know that our book was printed incorrectly. They tried to offer a reprint for 50%. I said that’s absurd.. so they promised a reprint for free. And then GHOSTED me. Worst customer service on earth. Would give them negative stars if I could. Have posted our conversations for my 20k followers so no one makes the same mistake I did.
The quality is nothing like they advertised. The pictures come out blurry and washed out. It feels like a cheap knock off of CEWE. I’m sticking with CEWE in the future, worth paying more for higher quality. I used a coupon for Mixbook and it still was expensive for what I received.
I love this company! I created a photo book and asked my Hubby to review it for errors in descriptions. He did and I ordered 7 copies of the book for all the folks we visited. When it came I saw that there was a misspelled word on the cover! Neither one of us had caught it. I was devastated! But when I called, The Mixbook staff looked at it and said “We will send you 7 reprinted books”. I could not believe my ears! I am so Thankful!
I've used Shutterfly in the past, but it was painful on my iPad. Google suggested Mixbook had a better platform for iPad, but it was absolutely untrue. I couldn't insert an ellipses, or even 3 periods instead. It took a long time with CS to get a fix. Which was...use a PC. There was no way to adjust the opacity of backgrounds without a PC either. Due to a web problem, I was unable to upload photos without using...you guessed it...a PC. It took a lot longer to put this book together than others I've created in the past. When it was finally completed, I ordered it, they charged my credit card, then denied that I had placed the order. If you love spinning your wheels, this is the site for you.
I used Story Mode to make a photo book about my family’s trip to Colorado, and wow! I never could have made it as nice myself. I love how I got multiple design options and was able to edit and customize everything.
On the last page of my photo book the Mixbook logo appeared after printing. It was NOT visible during the Edit or Preview stages. It did NOT appear on my first printing. It DID appear on my second printing right on top of text I had written, blocking the text out. When I contacted Mixbook about this they offered to reprint but then disappeared without a trace. I have tried to reestablish contact but all efforts have been ignored. From that I take it that their 100% Happiness ploy is nothing more than marketing baloney. I’ve been stiffed and don’t like it.
I recently received a photo book that was of very poor quality - I paid for their highest value paper. The print quality was unacceptable, the text on the front cover was completely misaligned, and the lay-flat pages were not glued together properly. I provided detailed photographs showing each of these issues. After spending around an hour speaking with one of your customer service agents via live chat, and after being offered various discount codes, the issues were fully reviewed and the agent ultimately agreed to issue me a refund, which I was advised would be processed within 5–7 days. I was also told to go ahead and order a replacement book in the meantime. I have requested a transcript of the chat with your agent for my records. I would also be very happy to discuss this with someone over the phone if you’re open to arranging a call. The desktop software is excellent but a total waste of time if the quality isn’t there.
This is our second photo book order from Mixbook and our second book did not meet our expectation due to a few quality and design flaws. I contacted Mixbook customer service and they were very supportive to resolve the issue and provided excellent support to satisfy our expectation. After learning what went wrong, they reprinted the new photo book free of charge. Their main focus is to ensure the final product reflects customers vision perfectly. I would recommend Mixbook to everyone!
We've been ordering from Mixbook for a number of years and they never let us down. The quality is exceptional, the price reasonable and the books are delivered quickly. The customer service is excellent, we can't say enough good things about them!
I love being able to get my photos off of my phone/camera and into albums. It frees up space on my phone and gets those photos into books that I can keep notes in about the photos. Such a great tool!
I've worked with a few photo book companies and Mixbook is consistently better. Ease of use along with a variety of designs make this the obvious choice.
For me, Mixbook continues to be the premier company for photo books. Easy to use with a plethora of templates, backgrounds, and stickers - Mixbook produces professional results. Recently, I even used Mixbook to create a storybook with pages of text that accompanied illustrations. Couldn't be happier! Mixbook is always my first choice.
I couldn't be happier with the beautiful book I created through Mixbook. For over two months, I kept a private diary from the day my daughter's fiancé asked my husband and me for her hand in marriage until the day he proposed. I documented all the behind-the-scenes moments—the excitement, the emotions, his nervousness about buying the perfect ring, his fear that she might find out, and the incredible care he put into secretly planning every detail, including hiring a photographer to capture the proposal. Being able to turn those memories into a professionally bound keepsake was incredibly meaningful. The finished album exceeded all my expectations. The print quality is stunning, the colors are vibrant, the pages are thick and luxurious, and the cover is absolutely beautiful. It truly feels like a family heirloom that my daughter and future generations will treasure. Mixbook made it easy to create something so personal and special, and the final product was spectacular. I highly recommend Mixbook to anyone looking to preserve life's most precious memories in a beautiful, high-quality photo book.
I used MixBook because it said I can share my books with others so they can review and purchase. Mixbook app is not intuitive and the enhancements/backrounds, etc. are minimal. When I tried to SHARE my project (phto book) with family, Mixbook never sent the link. I tried several times. In chat, I was told that I cannot share unless everyone (14 people) join Mixbook! Not what I was told when I began using the app. Eventually, they had to send me a link for me to send myself to my family members. I could have donte that with any project app and most of them are much better than Mixbook. Don’t waste your time using Mixbook. They only offer minimal options and customer service is very long waits and lots of I’m sorry’s without fixing issues. STAY AWAY FROM MIXBOOK.
importing photos is now much easier with several options able to edit photos after importing... just wish it was a little bit more affordable or possibly give repeat customers some kind of discount?
