Price and features unsurpassed
You can not find a light with the features that the "X" comes with, at this price point I will be able to crop steer with the independent use of IR and UV, along with supplemental and under canopy lighting. Extensive research made this selection easy. Customer service was responsive and timely. The light seems well build. Only thing I would have changed is the ability to remotely mount the power supply. With the power supply being internally mounted in the frame, maybe heat won't be an issue. Time will tell

I must say I’m impressed with my…
I must say I’m impressed with my purchase! I have the Medic Grow Fold 800x2 . This light DOES have a dimmer knob and daisy chain so if you are watching old videos for a review like me skip it. I just didn’t quite get the hanging kit so I scrapped it for something simple and my light goes all the way to the to of my grow tent 😉

i ride for medicgrow
I purchased my first Medic Grow 800W 4x4 Fold almost a year ago. Prior to that I'd been running a patchwork of cheap, used lights found on ebay. After two 'less-than-excellent' harvests with my patchwork lighting, it was time to put some money down and install some proper lighting. I found that everyone at my local shop was a Medic Grow evangelist and was told repeatedly the prices were unreal. They were not wrong - this is an excellent system, and it integrates perfectly with AC Infinity's AI and 69 pro controllers (probably many more). My yeilds more have more than doubled per plant. I recently had an issue with a component on the driver (3 pint femout output) which was no fault of Medic Grow - this driver had certainly been assembled with faulty component. I thought for sure I would be tossed back and forth between vendor and manufacturer until I gave up, but that was not the case! Miki, from Medic Grow's support team took ownership of my case from start to finish and had be up and running with a proper driver within the same week I reported the issue. I can't recommend this company enough, everyone values quality especially when purchasing something as consequential as your primary grow light, but I've yet to see another company deliver such quality at such an excellent price. When working with Miki, I felt as if he had some sort of vested interest in my success he was so great. I too am now a Medic Grow evangelist

My light is not working with the AC…
My light is not working with the AC infinity type A adapter for my AC Infinity 69 pro. I'm waiting on customer service to return my Email from this morning. I cannot access sunrise/sunset or use my wifi & Bluetooth to control the light. Not any good if you cannot control UV & IR for sunrise & sunset plus lights start low & get brighter over time is not functioning. I may have something wrong but it should be pretty straightforward since connecting with a rj11/12 cord to my controller & having absolutely no control even with a top end controller. And the light is manual everything, the red needs to press a button or+in another button a knob for the timer & a knob for brightness 🔆. it remains set on whatever it's physically set on, Unless you come in turn on uv+ir manually for 30 minutes 30 minutes before sunrise before sunrise, then sunrise takes 15-30 minutes to get to full brightness 🔆. If I got the smart 8 plus uv+it bars it's the same price but all the features I don't have to Grow anything of Quality without control $610 waste. I shoulda got spider farmer 8600 with added uv+ir bars cheaper and have full app control with all the features I listed that this light should have. The Neo 780 Aura was sold out for $439 , smart 8 $439 , & spectrum X 880w for like $560+ tax & insurance . I tried contacting & was told this light would work it does not. I'm waiting on contact back now.

I love my medic grow lights
I love my medic grow lights. I have two of them in 4x4 tents. My autos LOVE them. And they are affordable too! One day I hope to have all my tents with medic grow lights.

I came across Medic Grow during their summer sale and decided to give it a try. The MedicSun 2 is extremely bright – I’m currently running it in an 80×80 tent, and yes, it gets a bit warm, but nothing unusual. I also bought the 90×90 tent, which is where I’ll be using it long-term. The tent is surprisingly sturdy, with thick materials and solid light-blocking properties. Only minor thing: the zipper in the back could be improved a little. But honestly, for the summer sale price, it’s a no-brainer. Super happy overall – I’d definitely buy from Medic Grow again.

Good and trusted company with great products
All was good the only thing that can be improved is the time between the order and the shipping. For me it was 1 week before sending the parcel. A little too long, but when you want the best it’s worth it.

Strong Light, Minor Build Quality Concerns
The light is strong and really helps boost plant growth, but I noticed a few small build quality issues, like loose knobs and a slightly wobbly frame. It’s holding up fine so far, but I’m hoping it lasts long-term. Overall, it’s effective but could be sturdier.
