We had an incredible time during our stay. Cabin was ideal size for my wife and me (and dog). Super tranquil. Excellent access to the Blue Ridge Parkway and Asheville. Had dinner at the Twisted Laurel in Weaverville first night (incredible French Dip Special!) and lunch the next day at Carmel’s in Asheville (great burger and awesome brownie ala mode dessert). The hot tub was an added bonus! Definitely will return.

Charming cabins in the mountains outside Asheville. You get the perfect combination of feeling like you’re way out in the woods while only being 5-10 minutes from several restaurants in Weaverville and less than 20 minutes from downtown Asheville.

We are wrapping up our stay at Laurel Mountain Retreat, and we are so sad to say goodbye. If you want a getaway that feels like home but better, this is it! The owners have done an amazing job creating a cozy and relaxing atmosphere, which is exactly what we needed. We spent our mornings sipping coffee on the porches, listening to the birds. During the day, we ventured out to nearby hiking trails and waterfalls. And we spent our evenings baking cookies, watching movies and soaking in the hot tub. The cabin had everything we needed to make meals and spend time together as a family playing games and making memories. We can't wait to come back.

Loved the cabin, rooms are quite small as well as the bathroom but very rustic feel. Extra washcloths would have been nice since we were only there two nights and didn’t have time to mess with laundry. Very clean. Hosts were great.

Booked the Chanterelle Cabin for my birthday trip. Cabin was clean and beds were super comfortable. Very quiet and peaceful location. Cabins are very charming and secluded but still nearby fun attractions and activities like shopping downtown Weaverville. Scenery was lovely. Booking was easy. Location was pretty easy to find. The Instruction manual for operating things around the cabin was super helpful and straightforward. Hot tub was lovely. Really had a great trip. Will likely book again and recommend for future mountain adventures.

The experience was amazing! A very clean property. A nice getaway. Cabin had all of the amenities that you could ask for. Not too far either from Asheville.

Ideally located near our grandson’s college. The area is very peaceful and enjoyable. Good restaurants in Weaverville so travel into Asheville is not necessary.

We chose Laurel Mountain Restreat as a cabin to stay for our family’s Christmas trip! This was our first time staying there and won’t be our last. It was very cozy and clean. The beds were comfortable and had plenty of the necessities (soap, detergent pods, towels, makeup wipes, pillows). The hot tub was clean and amazing! It was centrally located to the Biltmore/Asheville. We went snow tubing near Mars Hill and enjoyed 2 whimsical and wonderful restaurants in Weaverville. Both offering a menu of culinary expertise. The cabin was perfect in every way! The hosts were also trustworthy and welcoming!
