I purchased the iSpring 50-micron…
I purchased the iSpring 50-micron filter about a year ago, and I had noticed I was not getting any discharge matter from the filter when I opened the flush valve. Upon inspection I could see a tear in the filter screen. I contacted iSpring via email and Julius responded to my inquiry. He explained some water hammering or surge could cause it and offered to send a replacement filter cartridge. I also asked it he could include the O-ring for the housing; I have found that sometimes when you take these types of filters apart the O-ring will leak if you re-use it; he was happy to include one for me. I successfully replaced the filter screen, and the system is back to working condition! Thanks to Julius for his prompt and helpful assistance on my issue.
