They do not return phone calls, hold times are extremely long. My Dad was discharged from rehab on the 17th of July, today is July 27th. Today I was told they did not have all the paperwork. We tried several times last week to get through, left 4 messages, never received a call back. They have him down as having a trach, every time I have been asked that question it was a NO! Our case manager was told by a regional rep that they received the paperwork, but they did not want it to say he was being discharged, when he was. I do not recommend this company. Today is August 3rd. I called the number they offered, I asked to speak to a Supervisor, but was told that it was customer service department not sales. I left a message this morning for the lady who I spoke with last week, she has not called me back. I left another message for the man I had been speaking to. Thank you for giving me a phone number that was absolutely no help. The customer service lady I spoke to today gave me another number & had to leave a message. Wonder if it will get returned. Tomorrow I will be calling Medicare to see if we can go with another company. SO frustrated!

From the moment I contacted Inogen, I was treated as a valuable customer. Firstly, Inogen's sales and customer service teams are in the US -- ZERO communications issues. The rep on the phone (Shamerica) couldn't have been more professional in helping me to select a continuous oxygen machine and a portable unit as well. She also let me know about a promotion that saved me $500 on the machines. Ordering was simple. She contacted my pulmonologist for the prescription, and the machines arrived within three days. Shamerica followed up TWICE to make sure the machines were perfect, and offered any help with setup that might be needed. Inogen's products speak for themselves... they are among the best in the business. I could not have been more pleased with the products and service that I received from this company. Highly recommend.

Inogen is a life changer for people dependent on home oxygen concentrators. It allows movement from the house to the vehicle and freedom from bulky, heavy unweildy green tanks!

Our experience was great because of customer service rep Toree Walker. My mom and I were lucky to have her answer our call. She helped us with all of our questions and concerns. Not only did she follow up with us throughout the entire process. She stayed in contact with us with an informative, informative and friendly demeanor. It was one of the nicest customer service experiences. I’ve had in a really long time. My mom is so happy that she has a confidence to walk around and be able to breathe. we absolutely love this product and a big thank you to Toree for being so helpful. Thank you Inogen for hiring someone like Toree. it’s customer service like this that helps ease the pain during tough times. It makes things a lot easier. Thanks again. Limon Family

I Purchased a portable G4 from Oxygen Generator Store/AMSR,Centennial, CO in July of 2024. In Aug. 2025 it kept shutting down-System Error). Had to pay $195. for a refurbished unit. It continued to shut down for the next year. I am on my 4th unit this month. (July,2026) System error or system hot. (now we're up to 6 total) They send a reburbished unit and it shuts down the next day. I regret I didn't record serial numbers-am I getting the same machines back? They are now testing the 4 refurbished G4 units they have in stock and will call/send me the best one-they'll call on Monday. Buyer beware. Note: I did purchase the Inogen Home about 7/2024 direct from Inogen and it works perfectly.

The equipment does work. So there's that. Customer service sucks. It took thirteen minutes to get a human on the "urgent attention" line. She dd know her stuff, but it was a simple question, how do I get a copy of my invoice? They don't like leaving a paper trail, will not respond to text or email. They want everything oral. That makes a bit of razzle dazzle in the sales process easy, and that turns into bait of switch. Just listen carefully, write it down, don't sign, call back and confirm when you're sure you understand exactly how many of what you'll be paying for. And do get a copy of that invoice. They don't like paper trails. Oh, I see Inogen has replied. Unsurprisingly, they want me to call them. So we can have a further conversation with no written record. Don't trust these people. But the products are good. No complaint there.

Although I’m extremely happy to have the freedom to get out with my portable concentrator, I am not happy with the batteries. When I first received my Inogen 6, the battery only lasted a little over four hours. I called and was sent a second battery. The second battery only last 4 1/2 hours. I feel like that is not exactly what I thought I was paying for now when I go out and not knowing exactly how long I’ll be, I carry the second battery as a back up. Also two weeks ago I charged both batteries up to 100%. Today when I’m getting ready to go out, both of them are down to less than 80%. I am not a happy camper.

Send an email a few weeks ago because even though the website said that the filters should fit the machine we have, they don't and I needed to know what the exchange policy was. Also needed to know who I can send the machine locally to since it's a first generation to get the cylinders replaced. Have not heard any reply to my emails

I love the size of my Rove 4 and use it daily. I tried the fanny pack but I couldn’t keep it up correctly so I returned it. The shoulder strap works well unless you bend over. Then, it falls forward and becomes a pendulum on your neck. (This was common with all portables.) It needs a 3pt harness. For now I attach it to a belt loop with velcro. I use level 1 or 2 and it lasts for hours even with a standard battery. The oxygen feed is excellent. I have difficulty seeing the darkened screen showing battery and oxygen levels but, that’s my eyesight problem. The unit goes up to 4 liters, allowing flexibility. I dropped it to the floor a couple of times and it is rugged enough to keep working. I would definitely recommend this unit to anyone who wants mobility in life.

The people at Inogen provide honest, informative communication during the purchase. I now own the Rove 6 portable and the Voxi 5 home concentrator. I am very pleased with both units. Jamie was very helpful and thorough during the sales process. Her attention to detail and communication with my doctor to assist with the prescription was very professional. I will not hesitate to recommend this company and product line.
