It was easy to get a refund when I forgot to cancel and was charged for another year. And when I was ready to resubscribe, I was given same the discounted rate I had before. Great customer service!
HD Piano is a great way to learn piano from scratch. As a beginner, I want to invest my time in learning to play songs that I can sing along to, not in learning to read music, or do exercises, or learn music theory. I'm loving every little bit of progress I'm making towards my goal, and I'm getting there, slowly but surely.
HERE'S MY PROBLEM !! You've blocked me out of my account and refused to accept my email or my password. (previous grumpy review beginning) OK, so some understanding of the statement is needed. The author is 72 years old, He may have blue hair, but as far as computer things go, he's ...er.. not fully in charge. So, step 1. Deny all responsibility and demand changes. Step 2. Try and follow the help given by Lavender. Step 3. Unable to follow the simple instructions demand more help. Help is given, with grace and concern as to how this all came about. Step 4, Sit at piano and connect to HD Piano, teaching me Moonlight Sonata, a piece I learned 50 years ago, but long since forgotten. I've actually helped run a multi million dollar company, but now alas can't. I accept that things have changed, like, learning the piano from a lady armed with a ruler, to looking at a computer screen with the notes all laid out, in which I can reduce to 25% speed in order to master the tricky bits. If you can't do it first time, repeat. Remember this, practice does not make it perfect, it makes it permanent, perfect practice makes it perfect. (that applies to golf as well). So to sum it up, these guys are great, the instruction model suits a scientist who was skilled in skill acquisition, but is ready to admit his age now plays a part. If you are aged over 65 THIS IS THE MODEL YOU SHOULD USE to acquire any skill. This review cost HD piano one months subscription due to the fact that I am an (ex) pissed off consumer of piano instruction. I'm now changing the star thing from one to five. I can't recommend them highly enough.
I wanted to take a moment to thank you for the tremendous contribution you have made to my piano journey. One of the things I appreciate most is your eclectic choice of songs. The variety of music you introduce keeps the learning process fresh, interesting, and motivating. It has also given me a wonderful roadmap for the future. Looking through the pieces you have taught, I estimate that I now have around 60 songs that I would like to learn over the next twelve months. Your enthusiasm for both the music and the teaching process shines through in every lesson. It is infectious and makes me look forward to sitting down at the piano each day. I also particularly appreciate the way you incorporate music theory into your lessons. Over the years I have learned various elements of theory, but often struggled to see how they applied in practice. The way you weave theory into the songs and techniques you teach has helped everything make much more sense. Concepts that once seemed abstract now feel relevant and useful. I have been a member of HD Piano for around five years, but I feel that I am learning more effectively now than ever before. Being retired has certainly helped. I am no longer trying to squeeze practice into a busy working life, and I find that my mind is more focused and receptive to learning. Perhaps the most valuable lesson I have learned is one that seems so obvious in hindsight: if you cannot play a piece slowly, you certainly cannot play it quickly. Taking the time to practise carefully and deliberately has brought a level of clarity and progress that I had not experienced before. Thank you for your patience in putting such a range of music together, your enthusiasm, your musicianship, and your ability to make learning both enjoyable and rewarding. Your lessons have renewed my excitement for the piano, and I am looking forward to many more hours of practice each day and discovery in the years ahead.
I've been using HDPiano a few years now. It's a great platform with a nice variety of songs. The instructors have a great teaching style. If you would also like the sheet music, they sell their arrangements on musicnotes.com which can be a nice learning supplement. Their customer support is also helpful and responsive in my experience.
Had a issue with cancellation and that it still booked even though it cancelled but the customer service is top notch, was able to fix the issue and get a refund issued on the same day.
The piano teachers are fantastic, and the lessons are very easy to follow. I love the wide selection of songs available. I was able to learn Porz Goret by Yann Tiersen in just 7 days, practicing about an hour a day—it was such a rewarding experience!
I changed my email and had after that problems with logging in to had-piano. I got help instantly to clear history and data in the Safari-app. And it worked, great!
I love hd piano more than the other programs. There are some songs that I wish they had license for but thats ok, there are more than enough great songs to learn. This is my third year to sign with them I'm very happy with their service. The piano teachers are very skilled and impressive. Nothing more to say than I'm ready to learn another song. Thanks HD Piano
The lessons are really good and easy to follow. There is a huge variety of songs and you can choose which skill level you like. I had a technical problem with saving my favorites and wrote an email. I got an answer just a few ours later and my problem was solved. I can recommend the app for the great songs and lessons but also for the nice support behind the app. The price for the app is more than I usually would spend for apps. But it is not a silly game, you learn something, you have actual piano lessons from real people every day if you like. I think for that the price is ok.
It's the best way to learn to play piano, it is simple and amazing, the way you hear the melody from each song. Just hoping I can continue with this lifetime opportunity system. Can't be happier, but slow, I think I'll make it. Thanks for the help, keep doing a good JOB. Orland Colon
HDpiano is your BEST CHOICE for learning to play piano
HDpiano features a wide range of songs to learn, lessons that are carefully taught by knowledgeable and friendly teachers, and terrific customer support. HIGHLY RECOMMEND HDPIANO if you want to learn to play your favorite songs and don't read music -- or even if you do!
It’s been a wild ride so far, I enjoy to use the practices. I would love to have a app of HDpiano and a view videos for following piano practices to sing along to my favorite songs. Thanks of cours for the great teaching:)
