Took the CSPO Course
I just wrapped the 2-day Certified Scrum Product Owner course with Grow-Lean, and honestly, it was one of the better certification classes I’ve taken. If you’ve done a few of these, you know the spectrum. Some are glorified slide decks with a quiz at the end. This wasn’t that. This course leans hard into participation. Breakouts, discussions, exercises, actual thinking. You’re not sitting there passively absorbing Scrum theory. You’re expected to engage, which is both the upside and the catch. If you try to half-attend while multitasking, you’re going to miss most of the value. The biggest differentiator is the instructor. Across reviews and my own experience, that’s not an accident. The instructors (especially folks like David Bulkin and Arlen Bankston) bring real-world product experience into the room, which changes the tone completely. It’s less “here’s Scrum by the book” and more “here’s how this actually plays out when things get messy.”

Handle Product in the Age of AI
Completed the CSPO course with David Bulkin and expectations were exceeded. The class struck a great balance between practical application and core Agile principles. Instead of just covering theory, David consistently grounded concepts in real-world scenarios especially around stakeholder alignment, backlog refinement, and delivering customer value. What stood out most was how engaging and interactive the sessions were. The discussions, examples, and exercises made it easy to connect the material directly to my current work as I transition into Product Owner responsibilities. I walked away with a clearer understanding of how to think like a Product Owner—not just what to do, but why this matters in the age of AI. Highly recommend this course to anyone looking to grow into or sharpen their Product Owner role.

Grow-Lean delivers a quality class
I enjoyed this class very much. I found it easy to follow but fast-paced, and packed with information. I learned a lot and feel ready to take my exam. I quite enjoyed the time with my instructor, DP. I would absolutely take another class with Grow-Lean with confidence it will prepare me and allow me to reach my goals.

CSPO training
I received training in CSM and now CSPO with David Bulkin at Grow-Lean and both times he has really delivered! He brings the energy, the passion in continuous improvement, and really opened my eyes with real life examples. After receiving my CSM it inspired me to make change and now with CSPO it motivated me to even more.

The instructor!!!
The instructor!!! DP was very engaging. Lots of real life examples and he explained all the elements so well that I actually feel prepared to lead a scrum team! I would definitely take another one of his classes. It was fun too! the games and team exercises really drove home how to apply it. Thank you, DP!

Arlen Bankston continues to excel as Instructor
This is my second Agile certification class with Arlen Bankston as the instructor and he continues to deliver a high quality class filled with practical and professional insights from his career. This encourages a lively dialogue throughout the 2-day class with fellow students. The material offered in this class is very relevant and offers valuable techniques for those in the Product Owner role. I highly recommend the A-CSPO Scrum Alliance class with Arlen as the Instructor (from Grow-Lean LLC).
