I had a very disappointing experience…
I had a very disappointing experience with Forward Funding. After signing up for their debt relief program, I changed my mind the next day because I no longer felt comfortable continuing and decided I wanted to handle my finances on my own. When I called to cancel, I was repeatedly transferred from one representative to another, and every person kept asking me the same questions even after I clearly stated multiple times that my decision was final. Eventually, I was transferred to a manager, and the experience became even worse. Instead of respecting my decision, he continued pressuring me to stay in the program and kept insisting on the same points over and over. His tone and voice became louder and more aggressive during the conversation, which made me feel extremely uncomfortable. I felt very harassed, belittled, and taken advantage of during a vulnerable situation. Instead of feeling helped, I was made to feel small for wanting to cancel. What upset me even more is that they deducted $444 from my account only two days after I signed the contract, despite no actual services being completed yet. I requested a refund, but the entire process felt stressful, unprofessional, and emotionally draining. Customers should be able to cancel a service without being pressured, intimidated, or made to feel guilty for their decision. Based on my experience, I would strongly encourage others to fully research and understand what they are signing up for before committing.
