Our technician was so helpful and walked us through the process and kept us informed as to how long each step would take. This was a follow up from my call a few days ago. Great Service!!
I called because a micro inverter in my system is out and has been for over a month. They gave me a list of installers, but they are unhappy with the price I was quoted. I mean so am I since I got to pay it! Then the guy on the other end of the phone was very hard to understand while he proceeded to explain to me that I needed to shop around and find a cheaper installer to come fix the problem. The system is only 4 years old and this is the 3rd time it's happened. Solar was not a good investment!
Their support desk is great, but unfortunately I need to talk to them almost every time power goes down (comm problems, manual restarts, sync issues). Spent $35k on the system, and it works except for when I need it. Over engineered. You can see from Enphase's response they are close to the problem, it's just that their system repeatedly does not restart itself.
I am extremely disappointed with my experience and the lack of support I have received with my solar system. My original installer went out of business in April, and I was left trying to figure out on my own how to get help. It took me going down a complete “rabbit hole” just to find a phone number and someone willing to assist me. I brought my account current over a month ago, yet my system has still not been properly restored. My system had a padlock issue, and after finally receiving an access code, I was able to turn it back on myself. However, my Enphase batteries are still not working. They are not communicating, they are not storing energy, and they are not providing the backup power I am paying for. I have reported this issue, but no technician has come to my home to resolve it. Meanwhile, I am paying approximately $650 a month for my solar payment while also paying double my normal electricity costs because the system is not functioning. This has created a serious financial hardship. I have also been told refinancing may be an option, but I have not received any follow-up or help despite multiple attempts to get answers. I am asking Enphase and everyone involved to please take ownership of this situation, send a technician to properly repair my system, and work with me on a fair resolution, including reviewing payment relief and refinancing options. Customers should not have to fight this hard to get support for a system they are paying thousands of dollars for.
I have to say that here in the UK Enphase gave me excellent, responsive support when I had issues with my gateway. I was disappointed to learn that this piece of equipment only had a short guarantee period, which meant that I had to either replace it or go without. But that isn't the fault of the support person, who conscientiously looked after me and all my questions.
I had a great communication experience with Muhammed. I never once got frustrated talking with him in solving my issue with IQ Gateway. Working with Enphase a great company.
I hadn’t checked the functioning of my solar panels on the Enphase app for a few months. When I tried to use the app the information wouldn’t load - spinning wheel syndrome. A customer service representative, named Muhammad, patiently walked me through reinstalling the app which mad the connection to my panels. He also gave me some tips on how to compare past performance of the panels to current performance. That was my original objective when I first tried and couldn’t download the information on the app. Thank’s Muhammad!
14 of my 35 solar panels quit producing energy according to their Enlighten app. I want the problem fixed under warranty. They want the installer to look at it first. The installer is out of business. They e-mailed the installer anyway and are waing for a response. Good luck! They want to charge me look at the warranty issue even though they have been to my house for free in the past when the installer was unable to resolve a problem.
I was very impressed with the young lady I worked with. She was very helpful. I'm 76 years old and 4'11" tall so when she asked me to read the lights on the panel I couldn't. She waited until I got help reading them and kept trying different things to get my solar working again. She worked all different tries and when she got it she was excited! I loved working with her. Her calm disposition made me feel relax while trying different things. Finally she said "we did it!" I said "no you did it". It has been working fine since she helped me. I'm not positive of the date this call happened, but it was mid june, I will give my best guess. Thank yoy!
We had the best support we have ever had from your technician Mohammad. He helped get our system online and reporting. Did everything perfectly for us. On top of this, he explained things and taught me how to understand our Enphase app and see past and current information. Thank you so very much
We purchased 19 solar panels which were mounted on our roof. There were several delays, which made for a fair amount of frustration. One particular day, the installers didn't show. We received a phone call from someone who sounded as if she was calling from India, saying that a tool broke and they had to get a new one. That led to at least a week before they showed again. The install dragged on. Then, after they finished, nobody returned to actually turn the entire system on for three (3) months! It wouldn't have ever been turned yet unless I finally noticed the "ON Switch" hadn't been thrown!! That was 3 months worth of electricity we were out of. And was the end result? The same Indian said: "Oh, we're so very sorry" End of communications. In retrospect and suffice it to say, I'll NEVER recommend Enpahse. My last advice to any prospective customer: Shop it around. There are several more qualified investors out there.
I want to cancel my subscription, which is literally impossible. Hours I've spend already trying to cancel my Enlighten Manager subscription and no one is willing/able to help me, or even cancel it from their side. I’m redirected from one place where I can not log in, towards another place where I can not log in. There seems to be a sync issue between environments, which they cannot solve or cancel payments. Ticket number is 2718861, so don’t bother to reply if you did not solve it.
Our solar system is 6 months old. It went down for a week before anyone could come to fix it. It worked for a week and went down again. When they get here to work on it again it will have been down this time for 12 days. When it works it’s great , when it doesn’t I get a notification from Ameren to expect a $450 bill.
i spent 45 minutes on the easy case that i got no resolution and tech went silent total garbage the tech had no clue spent all her time talking to someone else because she has no idea what what ,, get someone who knows the product cheap help gets bad reviews terrible
I am a solar installer and system owner seeking support for an Enphase installation. Installation ID: 5337762 Gateway: 122307045149 Support Tickets: 19946292 and 19992599 Since April 14, 2026, 9 out of 15 microinverters have stopped producing energy. I provided Enphase with: * Complete system layout; * Phase distribution information; * Voltage measurements showing 224V at affected locations; * Photos and technical documentation; * Detailed troubleshooting information. The only explanation received was a generic statement claiming an "electrical problem," with no technical report, no root cause analysis, no diagnostic procedure, and no guidance regarding warranty evaluation. The system has microinverters operating normally on the same phases where other units remain offline, making the explanation insufficient. Weeks have passed without a meaningful technical response or resolution. I am requesting: * A detailed technical analysis; * Identification of the root cause; * Recommended corrective actions; * Warranty evaluation if applicable; * A clear timeline for resolution. This review is being posted because repeated attempts to obtain technical support have not resulted in a satisfactory response. Edson Eisele Sítio Solar Brazil
Another company to stay away from. Don‘t spent thousands of dollars for a a system just to have an issue at least once a year and then end up spending hours on call with customer support in an endless loop eventually that goes nowhere. I have now 6 case numbers for the same issue since early April which most likely was introduced due to a faulty firmware update. They can’t solve it and they are not really interested. Either they implement terrible logging have incompetent support people or both. Every time I call its the standard gateway reboot, once they offered on site support just to cancel it the next time I called. Then the wanted to ship a new gateway which was cancelled again to give an idea. 19775670 19799321 19800967 19828369 19872889 19911872 Update: After all the frustration i recently had, Enphase finally set up a site visit. Also was working with a designated enphase contact so I didn’t have to start over again with a new ticket every time I called. The system is still being monitored but it appears to be working again for now. So I certainly appreciate the efforts.
System was installed over 10 years ago and has worked well. Received email that system was not reporting to Enphase. Called tech support who asked for our account number which I provided. In about a minute person said our Envoy was bad and they could schedule a replacement for $900. I checked our PG&E meter and still putting power out. Person did not ask if Envoy had power or if internet was working. I said no thanks and checked myself. Turned out one of the power line internet interfaces failed. Purchased a new set for $59.95, installed, and system is reporting as I checked my account on line. I am still getting emails saying system is off line and they can offer a "deal" for $999. I really like the Enphase micro inverters but Enphase support "sucks".
