William was like a breath of fresh air. I’ve been told so many different ways to go by attorneys, and others that I was living in a fog. Thanks to William and the elder care program I now have a clear way to go. I now have reliable knowledge to move forward and provide for my care and my family’s care. Thank you!

Eldercare handled all the administration of getting my wife's Medicaid application approved. I needed to provide a lot of information, but they managed and organized it and followed up where needed. They explained the process and provided regular updates on how it was going, I was very happy with the support I got from both Jennifer Williams and Freddy Melgarejo.

Liz was fantastic throughout what can be a very long, overwhelming, and confusing application process. She was very organized, and kept us on track, clearly communicating what actions we needed to take, what paperwork was required, etc. We're very happy with how things went and are very likely to turn to Liz and ERP for when the renewal is due.

My family and I can’t thank Liz Gomez enough for her expert and empathic support as she helped us navigate the long and complicated process of applying for Medicaid for our mother. Her communications were always clear and timely, and her fluency with the Medicaid system was invaluable. We would not have received the approval for Medicaid that we did just receive without her advice and advocacy!

Submitting an application for Medicaid long term care for your loved one can be a daunting task, but Eldercare Resource Planning helped us through the process from the beginning by answering all our questions, helping with the application, the trust, entering all the paperwork and commication with Medicaid. The puzzle to find answers for qualifying for programs, protecting your loved one's assets and which application(s) are needed to apply for Medi-Cal services is overwhelming to say the least. William from Eldercare spoke with me, was very professional and able to discuss my concerns and answer questions to help guide me through the process.

Jenn was patient, encouraging, and gently persistent in guiding me through the excruciatingly detailed process of collecting all the necessary documentation. Freddy got the application processed. He was sympathetic and encouraging when the state of Indiana refused to recognize my authorization of his agency on my behalf and required me to complete a confirmation phone interview. He was persistent in following up when the state of Indiana said that our application was denied because I missed a phone interview, and I was able to provide him with details about the interview that I had completed as requested.

Christina Chisholm, my application support specialist was very kind and helpful through a very long ordeal. I could have never have worked with DSHS without the help of ELDER CARE RESOURCE PLANNING. Jessica Munoz, was also very helpful with all the transferring of documents and let me tell you there must’ve been about a million. ECRP has a checklist that has to be completed before the application process can begin. Most of the stuff on the checklist was self-explanatory, but there was also a lot of things on there that were just way over my head. so it took multiple phone calls and emails to take care of these. Let me tell you, if the normal person, such as myself tried to do this on their own they would probably never get any help for their loved ones because of all the red tape that you have to go through just to get it. ELDER CARE RESOURCE PLANNING keeps you on track.

Everyone at Eldercare was very kind, helpful, and efficient. This process was a long one and a little confusing for me at times. However, my representative, Christina Chisholm, always answered all my questions and did so in a timely manner. She explained everything to me in simple terms so that I could understand and was always so patient with me. She was actually very comforting and informative throughout this entire process. She was always right there whenever I needed her and guided me through it all. I could not have had a better person helping me with all this. She was professional, but at the same time, I came to know her as a friend. She's the BEST! Thank you, Christina, and thank you, Eldercare!

I would highly recommend ECRP to anyone who is looking to get help applying for medicaid for a parent. I was so impressed with everyone who helped me. From the first meeting with Jay who took the time to really explain what their service provides to the last communication with Freddie I felt taken care of through the whole process. Jennifer was kind, helpful, and answered all my questions. Both Jennifer and Freddie kept me in the loop with everything that was going on and gave me updates. Anai also sent me some documents in a timely manner. My mom's medicaid was approved much quicker than expected. Thank you ECRP for going above and beyond my expectations!

Consultation with William gave me a great source of information and future actions that I made need to take regarding my spouse’s dementia diagnosis. I’d read that early planning was important but didn’t know where to start. William helped put my mind at ease and understand the path I may need to take in the future. The initial introduction call was helpful in understanding the process and what options would be available for my father. The processing team gave me a checklist of items needed and followed up regularly. Once they submitted the paperwork to Medicaid, they kept me updated on the progress of the application. They were also able to put me in touch with a company to help find a Medicaid bed for my father. Their service removed a lot of the stress associated with elder care planning. I highly recommend Eldercare Resource Planning.

These 5 stars are mostly for Robert Carlson and Edith Hennen. We started this process about 5 years ago in hopes that by the time our mother would need Medicaid the process would be completed. We were very wrong and the continuous asking for information, more information, updated accounts every other month, continuous applications and denials for years. Finally Robert and Edith entered the picture in late 2025 and committed to not only getting the application finally approved but also to update us weekly until it was. They stuck to their word, and through multiple barriers pushed us to the end within 8mos. Still seems like a long time but Robert and Edith provided excellent service and acted quickly at each challenge that was presented. We could have never navigated the Medicaid system without them and even having worked in healthcare over 15 years had no idea attempting to get on Medicaid was this complex and arduous.

Their expertise and guidance were essential in helping me manage my mother’s case efficiently. ECR assembled a dedicated team of professionals to handle our situation, with Liz Gomez taking the lead. Liz demonstrated relentless commitment to securing benefits for my mother, applying her extensive knowledge and experience to resolve issues and advocate effectively. Liz’s expertise allowed her to identify and correct mistakes and inaccurate assessments made by Medicaid staff. She also recognized when Medicaid staff were not adhering to their own policies and procedures, ensuring proper compliance and that my mother’s case was handled fairly. Without the guidance of Elder Care Resources, I likely would have abandoned the attempt to navigate the complex Medicaid process. Their support proved to be money well spent, and I am grateful to Liz and the entire ECR team for their dedication and expertise.

I cannot recommend Liz Gomez and Eldercare Resource Planning highly enough. Liz was instrumental in helping our family navigate a complex Medicaid appeal with ODHS. When the state attempted to attach a $30,000 transfer penalty to my mother’s account based on an incorrect assessment of her home’s sale value, Liz stepped in with unmatched expertise. She took the lead on the appeal, coordinated with our realtor to gather critical documentation, and worked directly with the Hearings Department to prove the sale was for fair market value. Beyond just the appeal, Liz took the time to develop a comprehensive and thorough understanding of my mother's entire financial picture from the beginning, ensuring every detail was accounted for correctly. Roxanne, Priscilla and Caesar with Eldercare are the best! This is a complicated process and they were amazing. Kept me from making costly mistakes and explained the process in a way I could understand.
