My son had an absolute blast!
My son had an absolute blast! He said the guide Liz was Phenomenal and made it even better. He learned a lot. It was totally safe, he felt supported and I wasn't worried at all. 10/10 will do this again!

Enforce your supervision expectations better!
My daughter mostly had a great time, but I was GREATLY disappointed with the lack of supervision on their tour leg in New York City. They allowed a group of 4 girls ages 12-14 wander around Times Square for 3.5 hours without an adult! I was SHOCKED! One of the girls had to call her mom to calm her down because she was freaked out. Then, the group got lost and had to ask a police officer which way to go. Completely unacceptable to let kids of this age wander downtown unsupervised. The teachers made it seem like no big deal when I complained, then pulled only my daughter out of the group the next day and still let all the other kids go off on their own.

We had an amazing tour guide!
We had an amazing tour guide!! Chad made the experience easy and fun! There was so much history that we learned. He made a point to get to know everyone. Being able to travel with my children and not worry about planning was great!!

Best Tour Guide
Everything about our trip was amazing. The bus driver and tour guide we had were top tier and honestly made the trip the best it could have been. Places are places, but the people that got us there, showed us everything, and spent the time with us made all of the difference. I don't think there is a better combo that you can offer than our guide Ian and our driver Jeff. Apart from that we enjoyed every planned aspect of our trip. Having a pre-planned itinerary with everything set up was a game changer. It kept us moving and got us to see so much and learn so much about the city of Boston and its surrounding area.

Saw a lot in 5 quick days
We had a great trip! Our tour guide was great. We saw A LOT in Boston over 5 days, even with a few changes due to weather. I almost wished the trip was a day or two longer, because I would've liked a little more time to explore on our own, especially in Salem. We saw a lot of history, some really neat sight-seeing type things, the Museum of Science was really great. Our bus driver was also so skilled at navigating through so much traffic!

Our guide told us he was “Switzerland”…
Our guide told us he was “Switzerland” when it came to politics during our tour when we first met him. Then, he proceeded to make comments, skew history and let it be known where he stood on the political spectrum. I’m grateful I as a parent was on the trip to balance his editorials. I’ve been a registered independent since the day I turned 18, so this is not a right vs left complaint. Our guide was FAR left and I did not appreciate his lack of just stating the facts and allowing kids to make up their own minds about much of our country’s history.

Boston at it’s best!!
Dr. Freeman and Ms. Barrios were amazing and kept us informed and sent pictures through Band! My kid had an awesome time!!

West coast student trip
The locations were fantastic, but more specific and intentional stops on the tour are warranted. I think students would have preferred an itinerary that was more itemized and less flexible to keep them entertained and moving. The food choices should have been more sit down types for dinner, specifically. Also, the 2nd hotel was very dirty and most of the students, including mine, were complaining about that.

My experience was great!!! I 100 percent recommend EF for your schools. Everything was easy going and very simple. EF is great working with people and will help you get through this experience. Love EF I’ve been with them for 4 years now, and I keep on planning to continue.
