The case is very nice and fits well
The case is very nice and fits perfectly! The tracking was not the usual UPS or FedEx tracking but a 3 rd party that wanted me to sign up and download their app… not cool. Glad you wrapped the case in a sealed plastic bag as just the day before we had 3.5” of rain and it could have soaked the case thru the cardboard!

Nice surprise to get the guitar picks
Nice surprise to get the guitar picks, lanyard and guitar pin with the order of my guitar strap. Guitar strap is very nice. Exactly what I wanted. Loving my new guitar as well. My dream guitar.

I got a guitar case that will protect…
I got a guitar case that will protect my guitar, non just a gig bag. Even though it not the right size for my D'Angelico SS, it is big enough for it to fit. I will add some added padding to the inside to make the guitar fit better, so not a big deal. Also thanks for the pin, picks and the lanyard. I love surprises !!

Every team member I dealt with was friendly and professional. Shipping and processing were top notch. I am pleasantly surprised by the quality of the tailpiece. It would have been 5 stars but there is a minor discrepancy with the mounting holes between the original and the new tailpiece. Not insurmountable, but was hoping for "plug and play". D'Angelico still feels like a niche company who cares for their customers!

OK..... I love the D Angelico guitars that I have owned and tried via the Guitar Center 45 day trial. From a point of sound and beauty they rival any competition. I had to buy a gig bag from DA for my Excel SSXT. The bag was the closes fit although it is actually for the 16 inch DC. Here are my negatives: The SSXT was a sale item from Guitar Center and had no bag. In my opinion a guitar of this quality should have a case and or really top notch bag. I also have an Excel 1 which was used and only had a poor fitting bag. The other issue is with the smaller guitars the balance is poor causing neck dive. The SSXT I own has the smaller head which is better. I would say focus on what "brought you to the dance"...the sound of a D Angelico. So....GREAT SOUND....maybe a little consideration for comfort and resale value. In another life I was a working musician and have owned many guitars. I made a living playing a Tele and 335 type guitars. Wish your guitars had been available back in my time. Your coil tap works very well with some boost. The guitar retail world is a little crazy these days but you guys are making excellent musical instruments. Good luck.

Greetings! I wanted to share with you how we arrived at the D’Angelico guitar. The great Will Matthews of Count Basie Orchestra and Robert Shipley both helped my son Kyler pick out a jazz guitar. He is starting as a jazz guitar student on the collegiate level in the fall of 2026. They suggested that he purchase the D’Angelico that he did. He is very happy with it! His mother and I purchased it for him as a high school graduation gift from our local guitar shop. It was used, but in mint condition. I reached out directly to you via your website to buy the guitar case as the music shop did not have one that fit. After purchasing the case, it was here in two days and your communication to me (the purchaser) was outstanding! His name is Kyler Young and he a “prodigy”. He will be playing in several jazz ensembles and Orchestras at and around Hope College in Holland MI, starting in the fall under the instruction and mentorship of Dr. Robert Shipley. I imagine Kyler would love to be an ambassador of your brand someday! Thanks for the outstanding customer service and for checking back to inquire about our level of satisfaction! I bought the LS Premier 12 string…
I bought the LS Premier 12 string electric acoustic guitar. Best guitar I ever owned. Stays in tunes. Handles tuning changes and tempature changes well. Great tone. Love it. A bargain at twice the price. 60 years old playing acoustic guitar my whole life.

I bought a 2022 Deluxe Mini DC and I’ve got some nice guitars and built some as well. This guitar punches way above its price point. I have a 2009 Gibson ES339 with the ‘57 humbucker and the DAngelico puts it to shame in every way.

Really poor customer service
The customer service is truly horrendous. I’ve been trying to get in contact to discuss a bass that’s potentially a prototype, and to get general information. Sent 2-3 emails, not a single confirmation, no emails back, it’s been a month since I sent the first one and I’ve heard nothing.
