Astronomical price increase after locked in period ended
I loved the idea of clean energy and I had no issue if I paid a little more in order to use renewable resources. What I did not expect was that my rate more than doubled once my fixed period ended. My rate began as 9 cents/kWh and increased every month once my fixed period ended. I was paying 35 cents/kWh when they advertised their rate: July 2026: 20.00 cents/kWh. I have no doubt the increases would have continued if I did not cancel. If you subscribe, I recommend you set a reminder on your calendar to cancel immediately following the end of the fixed period.
