Great ride to Salem and back from…
Great ride to Salem and back from Boston Harbor. Would eagerly do it again. Spend some time in the charming, very walkable downtown Salem. Highly recommended.

July 26,2026 The person working at the counter gave my tickets away and lied about scanning my code and verification of my identity. I never got on the ship at all due to her mistake nor did my other people who I got tickets for their tickets was a no show really unfair. I have proof of me dining at another restaurant when I supposed to be on the ship

Lovely river cruise!
Lovely river cruise! Staff were all friendly and helpful and the history commentary was lovely. Such a good way to take in the beautiful sights of York!

Charged twice, defamed and no refund
Charged twice - had to fight for 2 months to get a refund despite being told it was a system issue and my refund was coming. I was also abused by the lady in the ticket office who accused me of trying to get free tickets despite having in fact paid 2x! Quite the opposite of trying to get free tickets. She also defamed me and claimed I was chasing customers away and tried to refuse to serve me. Her colleague was rolling her eyes at her - she is known as Jhanu and is in the Greenwich branch. The lady on the phone on the USA was brilliant however. She gets 5 stars.

Worst customer service
Trying to get a refund from City Cruises has been a terrible experience. I contacted them through live chat, phone calls, and emails yet my issue remains unresolved. Whenever I asked questions or requested to speak with a supervisor, I either received no proper answers or a new excuse. This is by far the worst customer service I have ever experienced from any company. I hope City Cruises starts valuing its customers' time and money and handles complaints with the professionalism they deserve.

This excursion is very expensive
I do not feel the menu, service or accommodations were commiserate with the price. The buffet was poorly maintained with a slightly above average menu (food improved, compared to previous ship, due to better seasoning, but the salmon was dry and some vegetables were bland). The plates and food ran out with a 15-20 wait for refills when reservations were made for the multiple scheduled events; demonstrating poor planning. I was shocked to pay for soft drinks with the high cost. So glad you upgraded the entertainment portion with a DJ for the entire cruise.

Mostly good, a little expensive
The online booking was great. The window seat was nice, the dance party was fun. The food came before we left which seemed too early. We thought we had pre-paid for everything and then when we went to sign, it said there were extra charges that were unexpected.

I would strongly advise against booking…
I would strongly advise against booking this tour. I booked the 12:30 p.m. round-trip Monuments Sightseeing Tour departing from Georgetown for my family of eight. We arrived at the Georgetown dock at 12:10 p.m., only to discover that the boat never showed up. There were approximately 20 other passengers waiting as well, all confused and trying to figure out what was going on. The experience only got worse from there. The company was nearly impossible to reach, and when we finally got someone on the phone, we were told that the tour they had sold us didn't even exist. There was no communication, no cancellation notice, no staff at the dock, and no effort to assist the stranded passengers. To make matters worse, the return trip they advertised didn't exist either, forcing us to scramble for last-minute transportation. We ended up paying a fortune for Ubers just to get where we needed to go. This fiasco cost us nearly three hours of our family vacation, caused us to miss reservations we had planned, and created unnecessary stress during what should have been an enjoyable day. Selling tickets for a tour that doesn't exist and then providing virtually no customer service is completely unacceptable. Save yourself the time, money, and frustration—book with a different company.

Buyagift offer makes this Thames lunch cruise great value for money.. Have been on at least 4-5 of these now & although we have had the same 2 course menu each time, the food is so good & well presented and staff so friendly & professional, that it doesn’t disappoint Would definitely recommend this cruise, not only as a tourist to see the sights along the Thames, but also just as a really nice way to have lunch..

Birthday Celebration on the New York Bateaux Premier Plus Dinner Cruise
I know this review is long overdue, but I must share my wonderful experience on the City Cruises New York Bateaux Premier Plus Dinner Cruise. I celebrated my birthday aboard this cruise last year, and it was truly an unforgettable experience from beginning to end. Even before I stepped aboard the vessel, the reservation staff was exceptional. They were incredibly accommodating and attentive, making sure everything was arranged beautifully for my special occasion. Once I arrived for the cruise, that same level of care continued. The onboard staff was wonderful and made me feel genuinely appreciated as a guest. From the breathtaking views of New York City to the incredible live entertainment, delicious food, and elegant atmosphere, every part of the evening was beautifully memorable. What made the experience even more meaningful were the thoughtful birthday touches. From the birthday card they provided to the rose I received, every detail showed the effort that went into making my celebration special. Those personal touches truly made me feel celebrated. If you are looking for a unique dining experience for a birthday, anniversary, special celebration, or simply a beautiful night out in New York City, I would highly recommend the City Cruises New York Bateaux Premier Plus Dinner Cruise. Massive queue to get on the ferry at…
Massive queue to get on the ferry at Westminster (about 45 mins), then almost immediately a long wait for people to get off and others to board at the next stop (at least 30 mins). Spent more time queuing and waiting than actually sailing. People were not sure what was happening at the first stop and staff said they were too busy to answer questions! The extra on-board commentary was amusing but being told to look one way meant you missed out and seeing things on the other side so a bit of quiet time would have been nice, too.
