"Scam website. I paid $1 for a test and they immediately charged me for a monthly subscription without my consent. Support is an automated bot refusing to refund. I am unemployed and need my money back immediately. Refund my account."

This is a scam I did a $2 test and cancelled and it didn't cancel and they kept taking money from me for 8 months. I have lodged a complaint with my bank

Update - after posting this review, Cerebrum got in touch with me and located the account that was charged. They refunded all of the unauthorized charges with an apology. I have no idea how I got signed up with this company, but they charged me for nine months on my Apple Pay. I never signed up for a subscription and I proved I didn't. They refused to refund. And, of course, Apple wouldn't reverse the charges, either. I never use Apple Pay so that's why I didn't know I was being charged. They tried to keep charging me! If I hadn’t drawn my balance to $0, they would have. If you see an ad from this company or a spam email, delete it and move on!

I accidentally clicked on your quiz link through Instagram. After completing the quiz, I was told that I needed to pay to view my report. I only agreed to pay the one-time fee of US$19.99 because I wanted to see the results at that moment. However, I later discovered that I had actually been enrolled in a subscription that charged me US$19.99 every week. I had no idea this was a recurring subscription. To make matters worse, I never even received the report or results that I paid for. Because I didn’t notice these charges on my card statements, the subscription continued for about one and a half years from Janay2025 to now. As soon as I realized what had happened, I contacted your customer support to request a refund. Unfortunately, my request was denied, and I have not been able to find any way to resolve this issue. I sincerely ask you to review my case. I never intended to subscribe to a weekly service, and I did not receive the report I paid for. I would greatly appreciate any assistance you can provide regarding a refund.

I just discovered that this company has been charging my account for months FRAUDULENTLY. This is a scam website stealing people's money. I only just noticed the recurring charges and I couldn't understand what was going on because I never signed up for a subscription with them. A quick google search brought up hundreds of similar complaints from people posting on Google and Reddit. I have already contacted my bank, and I will also be posting on Reddit.

What an absolutely atrocious company. They make it seem like you are paying for a 1 time IQ test then continually charge you $24.99 a month. I even found post of reddit where people complained about them charging after canceling their subscription. A slimey business model hidden behind clever marketing. Serves me right for trying to take an IQ test in the first place...

⭐ My Review of CelebrumIQ / CerebrumIQ I had a very disappointing experience with this company. I contacted them because I received a subscription cancellation confirmation from them on December 14, 2025, yet they continued to charge my account automatically after that date. I wrote to their support team requesting a refund for the charges made after the confirmed cancellation date. Their response was simply that, according to their policy, charges made after that date are not refundable. To me, this is unacceptable. If a subscription is officially canceled, no further charges should occur, and refusing to refund unauthorized charges shows a lack of transparency and responsibility. I cannot recommend this service based on my experience.

This company is the parent of MyIQ who use deceptive consumer business practices to hide behind a free trial to sign you up for an unauthorized monthly subscription. They also provide false information on their website that does not allow you to cancel via their cancellation portal. I have asked for my subscription to be cancelled immediately via their help desk. If not, legal action will be taken

Cerebrum is a parent company of myIQ. I did a myIQ test for 50p on a social media account in February and paid using Apple Pay - I have had £120 in total over last 4 months taken from my account. It is a scam. I contacted them this morning and they claim they can’t find my email address and last 4 digits of my account. I have contacted my bank and they have blocked this. My conversations withyIQ is being sent the same email back and no interaction even though I have sent all the information in the email below to cancel this and get a refund. This email just keeps being sent back to me - Hello xxxxx , thank you for your detailed messages. We have thoroughly searched using all the emails and payment details you provided, including your card ending in xxxx and the email xxxxxxxxx but we still cannot find any active subscription linked to these. To assist you further, could you please confirm if there might be any typos in the emails shared or provide any other email addresses you may have used when subscribing, including PayPal emails if applicable? Additionally, sharing the exact payment amount, payment date, payment method, and a clear screenshot of the charge or invoice would greatly help us locate and resolve this issue quickly. We're committed to supporting you fully and resolving this as soon as possible. Best regards, xxxx My IQ Customer Success Team

This is a parent company of MYIQ who lead u to believe u r entering a £1.00 trail with two 50ppayments and then say u signed up and no mention of a £29.99 recurring charge I paid with PayPal I was totally unaware of further charges and have cancelled MYIQ allegedly subscription payments pending I will be in contact with my bank and PayPal please be AWARE of this practice it not even UK based

I am extremely disappointed with MyIQ. I took a one-time test for a small fee, but I was automatically enrolled in a high-priced monthly subscription without clear notice. Despite the fact that I have not used the service even once since the charge, their customer support (David) repeatedly refused my refund request using scripted responses. They claim the service was "available," but charging customers for a service they never accessed—especially after a misleading sign-up process—is predatory. I have already contacted my credit card company to dispute the charge. Beware of this site; they make it very easy to charge you but nearly impossible to get your money back. [UPDATE] WARNING: Deceptive and contradictory support. One manager (James) officially promised a refund and gave me a reference number ,but then another person (David) contacted me to say they won't honor it. They are playing games and lying to customers. This is a scam-like experience. I have reported this to my bank for a chargeback. DO NOT TRUST THIS SITE.

What a scam. I never made an account, I have no idea how Cerebrum IQ got my bank info. Their AI bot “David” sends me around and around in circles because they’ve been charging me monthly for 4 months. Bot can’t find my account, because there isn’t one… because I don’t have one. I’m calling my bank for a charge back tomorrow and reporting them to the BBB Edit:customer service contacted me with hopeful intentions. Turns out, the hopeful emails were just another bot and I still haven’t spoken with a customer service representative to end these unapproved charges. Super scam, they’re out to get your money!

Complete scam, took a free test and was charged €30 a month for several months without agreeing to it and did not notice them taking money out of my account for several months without notifying me. Hidden fees, would completely avoid this website and planning on reporting them.

Scam business. They work on a subscription model. Even if you cancel your subscription they will keep charging you monthly until you realise and cancel. Should you realise, they make empty promises that they will refund you via PayPal but to no avail. Quite frankly this company should have been struck off any legitimate business register years ago. How that can continue to operate is a mystery and a scandal.
