My most recent release was cleared at the end of May and is still not on Spotify. Customer service has been horrible, I can’t talk to a human. I even paid to have this fast tracked.

While CD Baby is a reliable platform, the release times are currently much slower than expected. Waiting over a month for a track to go live can be challenging when trying to coordinate promotional campaigns. By comparison, other distributors like DistroKid often process releases within 12 hours. I hope the team can optimize their workflow and speed up processing times in the future, as faster delivery would greatly improve the artist experience.

Could not change my own copyright info after uploading. Raul, the idiot at your legal department, said it can't be done. You're talking to a BFA holding CEO who has years of technical writing experience—it was pure laziness and unwillingness to comply with a very simple request which leads me to the next problem... My YouTube channel for my artist was already up. With the single on it. I should be able to integrate that, easily. It's not nuclear physics we're discussing here, guys, seriously, I am appalled by the idiocy of this team. Everything is going, and you can be sure my word of mouth for your company will show, "They charge you up for support, do not provide any direct point of contact (ever heard of phone support, you fng jackasses?) make excuse after excuse about 'hands are tied' and other nonsense that they can hide behind their email address and make people wait for however long.

Great experience; the only issue for me is that they don't have the option to claim the artist channel on YouTube, which is much needed now.

Another Scam, was Five Star but once again another Distributor who without any evidence accused me of not streams and removed all my music. Almost all these music Distributors are Scams with zero way of contesting your innocence

CD baby managed to put a glitch on my track which jumped a part then stuck it on the end After trying to explain to their chatbot and going round in circles with it I requested to speak to a human No one got back to me to sort out the problem resulting in me having to take the track down and redistributing with Ditto .Very disappointed with CD Baby.

CD Baby offers me an easy and very affordable way to have my music out for people to access easily. My work is available on all major streaming platforms and on YouTube, all for $15 per album. They also look after a lot of administrative details so I don't have to. It's a great way for me to have an online presence!

I was extremely disappointed to discover, only after paying for my release, that CD Baby requires my 24-bit professional master to be converted to 16-bit/44.1 kHz for distribution. In 2026, when major streaming platforms support 24-bit audio, this requirement feels outdated and unnecessarily limits the quality of the master I can deliver. Had this limitation been made clear to me before payment, I would have chosen another distributor. This will likely be my last release through CD Baby.

CD Baby has been good to work with. You can pay a little upfront to avoid a profit share, their uploading and releasing process is straightforward.

ur company suspended my all accounts for no reason or without any notice. they also deleted my all original songs from all social platforms. i released my all songs orginalyy and with all my rights and ur company not responding to my any mail. please let them know about my issue. its much serious matter to me.
