You can taste the difference.
You can taste the difference right away. If you think a regular name brand pitcher/filter is doing enough, you are wrong.

If you struggle to drink water or say you don’t like the taste of water then you need this filter. This water that comes out of this filter tastes so good it makes me crave water. The filter will also open your eyes to just how bad sink water is for us. Buying this filter is a great way to keep your family healthy!

We have been using the Boroux water filtering system for over a year and absolutely love it! You can taste the difference in the water especially where I live. I am now a water snob and will only drink from the Boroux, I even take additional water when I go to work or trips so I don’t have to fill up elsewhere! I have never had any trouble with the filters or canister and always have prompt delivery when ordering new filters. I would recommend getting all four filters it filters so much faster and with the amount of water my family drinks it’s a game changer!

I’ve had my Boroux for a few years now, and I absolutely love it! The water tastes so clean, crisp, and refreshing, and I can genuinely tell the difference compared to regular tap water. It gives me peace of mind knowing it’s filtering out the things I don’t want in my drinking water while still leaving the water tasting amazing. We even insist on using it for our coffee. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for great-tasting, filtered water!

We received a report on our municipal water quality and became alarmed. After researching options, a friend recommended Boroux. Now I choose water to drink sometimes because of how it tastes. We bought a Pitcher and just keep in full in the fridge, so we have clean cold water whenever we want. We have purchased another unit for our camper so we can avoid plastic water bottles when we are traveling in the summer. You won't regret trying Boroux!

Boroux has been amazing to work with. They have regular sales which makes it easy to purchase new filters and accessories. I love their filter as it takes my well water and makes it taste so good. Filters last a long time as well, and customer support is great!

I absolutely love my Boroux water filter! Having clean, great-tasting water is so important to me and my family, and Boroux makes it easy to feel confident about the water we drink every day. The quality of the filtration is amazing, and I love knowing that I'm making a healthier choice for my family by prioritizing clean water. The water tastes fresh and pure, and the filter itself is easy to use and feels like a great investment. I truly believe clean water is one of the most important things we can provide for our families, and Boroux has made that something I can feel good about every single day. I highly recommend Boroux to anyone who cares about the quality of their drinking water. Wonderful company, wonderful customer service.

Absolutely love our Boroux! The water tastes incredibly crisp and clean, even the kids can taste the difference! We have not one, but two units. They were so easy to set up, and the quality is outstanding. The customer service is truly top-notch! I recommend the 3 gallon unit for bigger families! Highly recommend!

I purchased the Boroux water system and within normal use it overflowed, damaging my wooden countertop. This isn't a case of user error. I went back through the manual afterward specifically looking for fill instructions, and there is no clear guidance on how much water the system can hold or how to fill it without risking overflow. The manual does, however, contain multiple warnings about overflow — which tells me this is a known issue the company hasn't actually fixed at the design level. When I contacted customer service, I spoke with two different representatives who each identified themselves as managers. Both were dismissive, spoke over me repeatedly, and tried to place the blame entirely on me for "not following instructions" — instructions that, again, do not exist in any clear form in the manual. Neither offered any real resolution for the damage to my property. What really got me was that they offered to send me a free water level spigot — essentially admitting this part is needed to prevent overflow. But if that's the case, why isn't it included standard? This system costs over $300, and a component that helps prevent the exact malfunction they kept insisting "never happens" should not be an optional extra. If a product's own documentation warns repeatedly about a malfunction but never explains how to prevent it, and the fix for that malfunction isn't even included at this price point, that's a design and communication failure, not a user error. Combine that with a customer service team unwilling to take responsibility, and I can't recommend this product. Buyers should know what they're getting into before they put this anywhere near a wood surface.

They will not honor their warranty on the filters because I was one day past the warranty with my official email complaint. however, I had called three times to report the same problem and they kept having me do "problem" solving which never worked and then would not back their product. They kept changing the "goal post" for typical performance, first it was one inch of left over water, then 1-2 inches, then 1-3 inches is normal. When I sent a picture with over three inches of remaining water in the filter, they responded with that looks normal. I had a ruler in the picture and everything that showed over over three inches. Anything to get out of backing their product! Go with Berkey.

Fantastic customer service, with a real phone number and real people. I had recently moved and forgot to notify Boroux auto-ship, but when I received an email that my filters had just sent, I panicked because of the old address. I called the customer service number and They were able to stop the shipment and correct the address to my new home right away. Very impressive , these days. The product is top notch and I highly recommend the extras. The automatic ‘priming’ feature makes set up fun and easy. I’ve used Boroux for 18 months now and I love it. I always toss the first two batches of water after installing new filters. I’m drinking more water now and love the purity.

Do not buy this product they’re fake and a health hazard. I received filters that were crumbling when in contact with water and they are claiming this is how it’s supposed to be…

Poor filters. At first they filtered fine although at different rates. But after 1.5 weeks of use in a normal home with 1 person, the filters have stopped filtering. It takes half a day to filter 1 liter and slowing more and more each day. The last 30% of water does not even go through. I don't have time to wash and prime them every other day as customer service suggest. Faulty product. Lasts 2 weeks, not months or years

I have been using the Boroux system for over a year and I really wanted to give this company a great review. I love the water I get from the system and it is easy to setup and use. However, shortly after cleaning the filters and the chamber as recommended by the company, the upper chamber on the system split open. The company was great when I reached out and sent a replacement upper chamber but then it happened a second time with the new upper chamber. I very carefully followed all of the directions when setting up and cleaning this system.

We love our Boroux water filtration system, the only complaint is we wish we would have got one sooner! We love the crisp, clean taste of this water, anytime I taste unfiltered water now you can definitely taste the difference. It was a bit of a learning curve to prime the filter during the initial setup, but ever since then it's been great. We also purchased the water level spigot which is a total game changer. Highly recommend that add-on! Thanks Boroux for providing us with clean water we can trust for years to come.

I wish I'd read these reviews before purchasing my filters. I thought they would be the same as the Berkey ones just under a different name. I'm experiencing the rubbery taste others mentioned. I find that every time I reprime my filters, I can get it to disappear for 2-3 days, but who has time to reprime every couple of days?! And perhaps more concerning, what is causing the taste in the first place since it's not present in my tap water?

(Note: I wrote this review on Boroux's website but it does not show. They are showing mostly 5 star reviews and filtering out the rest!) After days of thorough research into water filteration systems I purchased the Boroux system with two sets of filters, but a replacement was sent because the black rubber washers on all of the filters emitted a strong car tire rubber odor. These rubber washers had also stained this rubber odor onto the surrounding plastic base, the filter inlet, and the gasket of the filters while sitting in the packaging, and I found no amount of washing made a difference in reducing this odor. Customer service responded very quickly through email and assured me that replacements usually resolve this problem, but this was unfortunately not the case. Either this company needs to: 1. Resource the material used for those washers 2. Find a better quality manufacturing partner to make them 3. If neither is possible then it unfortunately comes down to a flaw in their product design. I can never recommend this to anyone who has a sensitivity or concern for smell or taste in their drinking water as the rubber odor pervades in the water even after countless washes and changes of water. Even though Boroux's team shows again and again that they have a proactive approach to certifying their filters and systems with third party testing, it doesn't mean anything if you are left with unpleasant experiences from four sets of their filters. After 22 email exchanges and hours of trying all I could do to make this system work, the odor persisted, ending in a very disappointing and time consuming experience. Other things to note: Even after thoroughly washing and letting the stainless steel chambers air dry completely, once assembled, both chambers emit a metallic scent even though stainless steel should be scentless. The filter's garket had quite a bit of resistance when screwing onto the filter's stem inlet, and I noticed after screwing it off the last time that the stem inlet had shed tiny black pieces of plastic onto my fingers in the unscrewing process. The hole plugs that sit in the water in the upper chamber are made of plastic, even though plastic free alternatives to these parts exist. I thought the reason for the stainless steel body was to remove as much water contact to plastic as possible, even if the plastic is BPA free. Among the email exchanges with Katie, the Boroux Expert, she used phrases like the one following that sounded unnatural: "Can you advise is the stainless steel water view spigot experiencing any issues?" She also returned some emails asking me the same thing I had written explaining to her in the prior email, as if she didn't read or understand what I had written at all. Some exchanges were smooth, but some were not. The stained rubber odor from the plastic parts of the filters, metallic scent from the stainless steel body, and the shedding of plastic from the filter's stem inlet; For a water filteration system that's supposed to remove contaminants from the water, this is completely unacceptable! These parts that are made in China have serious issues in quality control from what I have experienced in the two systems and four sets of filters that were sent to me. I fear I would be contaminating my water further by using this product! Since I had such high hopes for Boroux's water filteration system, this was terribly disappointing.

I had been searching for replacement filters for my Berkey water filters for a few months since they were always out of stock. I've been using the Boroux filters for a couple months now and they work just as well if not better than any Berkey filter that I have ever used. I feel like the people that have issues with these types of products just cant follow simple directions.

I used Berkey for years, once they were not allowed to be sold anymore I went with Boroux. We used these filters for a few WEEKS only and they grew mold on them. I wrote customer service and they said it was not mold, it was just mineral build up. I wrote them back saying we are very sensitive to mold and I never had white growth all over my Berkey filters so please absolutely verify and the second time around they admitted that it WAS in fact mold growing and to just run bleach water through the system and reprime. Now mold has reached every single piece of our system and we don’t feel comfortable using bleach water or using them anymore. Now we are on a hunt for a different company to use. Our friends also have Boroux filters that somehow keep attracting ants inside but never did with their Berkey either. We sure do miss Berkey.
