Very disappointed
My husband purchased the Heart Shaped Aquamarine Infinity Pendant with Diamond Accents for our 20th wedding anniversary. While the pendant itself was beautiful, the chain has been unreliable — ultimately resulting in the loss of a meaningful piece of jewellery. A couple of months after receiving it, the clasp came undone while I was at home. I caught it before it fell and assumed it might have been my error, even though this has never happened with any of my other necklaces. From then on, I made a point of double checking the clasp every time just in case. A few months after this incident, the necklace came undone again during a special event and was lost. When I contacted Angara, I was told I should have returned the chain after the first incident. At that stage, I had no reason to believe the chain was faulty. It’s now clear the chain supplied was not fit for purpose, and other reviews show similar issues. Angara’s suggestion that I repurchase the pendant and chain — and that they could make the chain “even more secure” — indicates they are aware improvements are possible. If so, the original chain should have been designed to meet that standard. Their offer of only a 15% discount to buy the product again, along with a stronger chain that should have been included from the outset, is unacceptable. Very disappointed and upset.
