Great Staff, Great Used Equipment

Worst customer service ever
Worst customer service ever. Ordered a new office they send everything ne except used corrugated dust cover. The Shipping packaging is so terrible they used carboard edge protectors that came off during shipping because they did not even screw in the bottom. Edges got damaged and instead of fixing the issue the want us to file a claim. Shipper wouldnt have damaged it if they cared about how they packaged it. Then called and sent pictures all they will say is file a claim they will not make it right. Asked for a full refund they tell me 25% restocking plus pay for shipping back.. PLEASE NEVER BUY FROM THIS COMPANY! YOU DO NOT GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR..... I can tell by your reply that you do not care about bad reviews nor the end customer. You are the worst company, and I really hope you go out of business. Your replies to every bad review on here just supports the review. End result does not matter to your company. I have plenty of pictures to show that you do not know how to securely package anything and you want the shipper to be responsible for damage. You are running a scam and I hope my review helps the next company before they get scammed.

Good Pricing and great selection of Rack supplies
I was looking for Racks to be used in the plant and was able to discuss the needs with sales and inventory and selection allowed me to find and purchase exactly what I needed.

Great experience with American Surplus
Great experience with American Surplus. I purchased a metal shelving unit and everything went smoothly from start to finish. The shelving was exactly as described, very solid and in great condition. It was easy to assemble and works perfectly for organizing our storage area. I’m very happy with the purchase and would definitely buy from American Surplus again.

Great product & Great People
Great product & Great People. Sent a email on purchase. Tom got back to me right away. Sent me a quote and got me the product we wanted. We had an issue with some cross beams and Tom and the shop took care of the issue right away. Have been purchasing our rack from American Surplus for many years and always a pleasure working with them.

First experience - couldn't have been better
I don't normally take the time to do reviews, however I purchased some good used gravity rollers from American Surplus a couple weeks ago. This was my very first experience with them. Everything was EXACTLY as advertised, they helped me arrange the truck freight, and most importantly they did a great job of packing/securing the load and it arrived in perfect condition. The price of what I purchased was extremely competitive & I would not hesitate to buy from them again - I'm almost looking forward to needing something they can supply! Really good customer service is becoming rare in this world, so It's refreshing to find a company that is still doing it right.

Need to learn how to properly pack a…
Need to learn how to properly pack a shipment for transport on an "LTL" carrier. Had a shipment that was 108" wide on a 45" pallet. This is not correct and as a result, I have been invoiced $425.00 by my carrier for "excessive length". The vendor response to this review was predictably not helpful. Very disappointing.............

the table we received were in good…
the table we received were in good shape and no complaints. The communication from salesman was not great. had a hard time getting any response until I added owner on emails. Didn't answer calls or emails. This was disappointing as a customer.
