Junk OS or Worse
Once the unit got to me I proceeded to put it in place following the the imaginary docs that came with it. Thankfully Yourube videos are better than their docs but still one setup the junky OS on the unit would NOT allow me to use the built in Ethernet port which was the ONLY reason I purchased the BC04 Hammer miner instead of one of the nerd miners. The os had a bug that caused it to fail to hash. Updated it manually and still had to set up the unit to use a WIFI connection. I’d give this thing a 1 star but at least I finally got it to work after 8 hours of messing with it. Hammer miner BC04 os is junk.

Glad to finally be back to mining! Thanks to Altair.
I have been on the fence for A LONG TIME about getting another miner. I got a Canaan Avalon Q and am happy with the new in box device I got. I love how quick these guys shipped it, and how quickly they replied to my messages as I set up the device. Excellent US based miner supplier.

A hobbyist miners perspective
As a hobbyist miner, I cannot recommend the Altair team enough. The responsiveness to questions and helping pick the right tools for the right miner I want to build has been extremely helpful and patient. In a field full of people who try to pull one over you it is refreshing to have a team that wants the best for the customers and willing to try to support something different i.e. Urlacher miners etc
