All scheduled events and meals were fantastic. We had issues with the weather coming home, but that was unavoidable. Both of our trip guides were pleasant and well informed on S. African history. Margaret went above and beyond when my roommate tripped and fell to make sure she was thoroughly evaluated.

Every time our son travel with ACIS is a wonderful experience and opportunity to learn and growth. The locations, staff, facilities and activities are amazing! The activities well designed and on time. Safety first! He can’t wait to go back to a different country/mission! Costa Rica was a wonderful trip. 100% Recommend.

The game drives especially in the private reserve were great! The “glamping” in the Krueger reserve lodge was really nice. The food at the lodges was meh. I really enjoyed the Robben island tour. Outside of the reserves, too much time was spent on buses. Some of those tours were more interesting than others.

Kyoko was an absolutely incredible tour guide! She was bubbly, excited, and patient with our high schoolers. Her personality was infectious and the kids truly fed off of her energy (and they ADORED her). Seeing all of the shrines and temples, trying all of the local and tasty food, and staying in amazing hotels made the trip so memorable, and I hope that I can go back to Japan one day! And visit Kyoko!

This was our first time touring with ACIS — as a companion and with our daughter/student. Preplanning was smooth, and customer service responded quickly whenever we had a question or issue. Our 10 day Japan tour with the California Youth Symphony was excellent! Each day had a full itinerary, and we were able to see much of Japan with a desire to return in the future. Our tour lead, Polly Yu, and her team of guides — Kayoko Fukikoshi, Jigen Manga, and Mai Miura — went above and beyond every step of the way, helping each other and the groups as a whole. They helped make our trip enjoyable. Polly and Kayoko especially went out of their way to help us resolve a hotel room issue to ensure our dinner was uninterrupted. Arigato gozaimasu ACIS!

Paul was an excellent on the ground tour guide. The concert spaces were thrilling, and we performed to full audiences! The tour was flexible to our desire to give our choristers a cultural experience full of music.

This company knows how to manage a great student trip. I've been to multiple sites now including Japan, Costa Rica, and the Dominican Republic, and each has been better than the next. And it is not because those are amazing destinations, they are, but the success and quality of the trip is 100% because of the people they have on their teams. By the first day of each trip you could see that they loved what they were doing. It's like they want to "show off" their country.

I am grateful that I have the opportunity to travel with the CYS Japan tour. It was an experience! We've been to 4 different cities and visited many sites. What I enjoyed the most was their concert performances. I have seen how music could bring two different cultures come together. The staff and the tour guides were all compassionate, friendly and very attentive to the needs of the group. With more than 150 people in the tour, they were very organized. Thank you CYS!

Itinerary was very well planned: nice mix of big cities and small towns. Also liked how there was built in time to explore on our own or relax. Tour guides Cristina and Marius are absolutely wonderful. Bus driver Tibor was also fantastic. Cristina was my guide and she was incredibly knowledgeable and gave us so much interesting information and stories about the places we visited, the culture, etc. This greatly enhanced our experience. My daughter and I had a fantastic trip that we will remember for a lifetime!

We had a wonderful trip with ACIS. The tour leaders were friendly, helpful, kind, and went out of their way to make sure everyone was taken care of and was having fun. Everything was well organized. The activities we did were fun. The food we ate was good. The accommodations were good. It takes a lot to plan a tour for 70 people (I think that's about how many of us there were), and it was great. My daughter performed twice with the youth symphony during the tour, and for me, that was the highlight of the whole tour. This was such a wonderful experience for her! This is something we would definately do again if given the opportunity.

I loved the tour. The tour guides were great, hotels were mostly good, and the kids had a great experience with performances and sightseeing. I also had prompt help with emergencies throughout. Can't wait to travel with Encore again!

My daughter and I had trips scheduled in 2020, which of course got cancelled. We lost a significant amount of money and this tour group was for the most part unresponsive. FYI they actually have a clause that specifically addresses level 4 travel advisory that offered FULL refunds less $100 and they REFUSED to honor their own policy. Do NOT book with this group. There are many others that are better. BTW. They deleted all previous reviews across several platforms and only responses in the past 2 years are what they consider relevant, but we all know, past performances are what keeps a business going ..or makes them fail. So do not fall for the current reviews since they took down 10 years of negative responses.

The variety of places that we visited was awesome, and everything was well planned out. But the biggest reason for the 5 stars is because of our tour guide, John. He was so pleasant, well organized, so very knowledgeable and fun to be with, so helpful in giving us tips on getting around during our free time and setting us up for a completely successful journey, that it made the trip memorable in the greatest way!

Tour guide, Daniel, was excellent. Hotels generally okay, except for Cardiff (put in a basement room, no air conditioning, had to pull luggage up and down stairs). CHESTER CATHEDRAL (re-)scheduled concert: VERY POORLY HANDLED. Chester Cathedral people told us we could NOT have chairs for our audience, we were a 'pop-up' choir that was not scheduled (we understood we WERE scheduled through ACIS!!) and did not 'deserve' consideration. We were told not to touch chairs, piano, etc. VERY POOR reception by Cathedral work staff, and NO ONE ON SIGHT FROM ACIS TO HANDLE THIS ISSUE. VERY POOR MANAGEMENT BY ACIS.

David was great, everything was incredibly easy. The only thing is that we would've wished for a bit more time in Vilnius and more performances if possible. Also, would've preferred more time to explore the city rather than the trampoline park. The food workshops were fantastic! As an admin, I would've appreciated more communication prior to the trip. More meetings, dates, timelines. I felt a little unsure of what my responsibilities were and what I needed to do.

To be totally honest, the actual trip for my daughter was a nightmare due to medical issues that landed her in a hospital in Venice. However, ACIS people were fabulous to work with! Carlotta in Rome helped me day and night whenever I was lost or didn’t know how to navigate the system. Brita was very supportive of me and helped me from the stateside. Laura helped me coordinate flights and getting to the hospital in Venice. I couldn’t have done it without them. Thank you so much!
